10 New Cases Reported Today; Weekly Vaccine Allocation Info Released

Red tier covidPress release from Humboldt County Joint Information Center:

Ten additional cases of COVID-19 were reported today. One previously reported case was determined to be out of jurisdiction, so the total number of Humboldt County residents who have tested positive for the virus now stands at 3,160.

Humboldt County has been allocated a total of 4,740 doses of COVID-19 vaccine — 2,400 Moderna and 2,340 Pfizer — for next week. Public Health is planning to administer at least 405 second doses and 996 first doses at large-scale vaccination clinics in collaboration with local health care providers. The remaining doses will be distributed to other approved local vaccinators.

Currently, people age 70 and over, health care workers, emergency services workers, licensed child care providers, K-12 educators and support staff are prioritized for vaccination. Planning is underway for higher education as well as food and agriculture. Vaccination appointments are invitation only. County residents can sign up to be notified when an appointment is available for their age group by filling out the online COVID-19 Vaccine Interest Form.

Red, Purple……more propaganda. More fear based mind control. Take off the masks and open the businesses etc….. Enough of this ridiculousness. If you want to wear a mask forever and live in fear, cool, just leave the rest of us alone already!!!!

“Their” hearts skip a beat in pure excitement with every new Covid article where they can ridicule mask wearers, the vaccine, the scientists, the numbers, and the hospitals. It makes “their” day. Covid is the trolls gift that keeps on giving, such rich material to draw from. The baiting continues through the day. So many “people” come out of the woodwork to agree with “them”, “ people” that find their message so valuable that they comment here once to agree and never comment on this site again.
The word is a stage, and so are these threads.

Switzerland has approved both the Moderna and the Pfizer vaccines. They said there wasn’t enough data on the AstraZeneca one to approve.

Australia has approved all 3 vaccines.

India has approved AstraZeneca and it’s own local vaccine. The others they say needed India-specific bridging trials to prove they worked on Indians and Pfizer at least simply withdrew their application for now.

Africa isn’t a country so I don’t know what the fuck you are talking about there.

None of them are rejecting the vaccines because they are “nefarious, cause harm and fatalities and DO NOT WORK” — that is just an idiotic thing to write. Or believe.

Nothing compared to FOX, OAN, Q, and all the other far right wing “news” outlets right on into 4 and 8 Chan, Parler, Gab etc.
CNN ? They can’t even compare to the trash those right wing outlets peddle.
But hey, I think people should keep sending $ to Stop the Steal, Trump and family have grifted a fortune off of the gullible, speaking of trash.

Conspiracy is in the eye of the beholder- liberal outlets just pound the drums over their own conspiracies such a Trump being a thief, making a deal with Russia to steal the 2016 election, Cuomo acted decisively to suppress the covid-19 pandemic, Cavanaugh is a rapist, BLM never promoted violence, etc, etc, etc . They believe these things as an article of faith and will hear nothing that does not accord with it.

The difference is that, while right wing conspiracy sites are read by relatively few people and there is plenty of public contrary criticisms to see of all of them, liberal conspiracists view their own lies as so sacrosanct that they insist that anyone who criticises be silenced by whatever means necessary including violence. There has yet to be a right wing conspiracist who demands be liberals shut up while the reverse is almost universally true. That makes them far more dangerous and damaging than any Agenda 21 (which BTW does at least exist if is not an actual effective conspiracy) conspiracy theorist.

The difference is that, while right wing conspiracy sites are read by relatively few people….

Of course this statement comes from someone who didn’t even know Agenda 21 conspiracies existed until visiting RHBB comment threads.

Shall we say….living in a bubble?

That bubble would make you say further atrocities of truth like;

There has yet to be a right wing conspiracist who demands be liberals shut up while the reverse is almost universally true. That makes them far more dangerous and damaging….

The last President, Trump, who you love to not talk about, was a right wing conspiracy theorist who tried to take 85+ million voices away by staging a failed coup attempt on our votes.

And yes, millions of false right wing conspiracy believers empowered him.

Of course, this commentor will bash the “liberals”(false) who impeached Trump twice for election meddling efforts and also ignores some simple facts like the recording of Trump trying to strong arm his party to steal the election;

“So, tell me, Brad. What are we going to do? We won the election and it’s not fair to take it away from us like this. And it’s going to be very costly in many ways.”

“I just want to find 11,780 votes…”

“There’s no way I lost Georgia.” …….

“There’s no way. We won by hundreds of thousands of votes.”

https://www.11alive.com/mobile/article/news/politics/elections/trump-tweets-about-fulton-county-brad-raffensperger-brian-kemp/85-a503efec-df8a-42ee-a92f-70271eac840f

And if he was willing to try to strong arm Georgia Republicans, then DC itself, what do you think he did outside of the US?

He coddled and favored the tyrants of the world, and you not seeing why yet is amazing, yet unsurprising.

It looks like the steps taken to slow COVID had a big effect on the seasonal flu. Got my second vax two weeks ago so as of today it won’t kill me. I also got this year’s flu and pneumonia offerings. With the talk of variants we may luck out. The messenger RNA vax is a good delivery scheme, its flexible.

I also got my 2 vaccines, Flu and Pneumonia this last year, and, I haven’t been sick…
Of course, we stayed home, haven’t traveled, shopped on Amazon, and basically only went out for groceries…

Smart moves in Garberville: SHCHD is finally going into the Pharmacy business, as I suggested repeatedly here on these pages for years… The pirates at Keith’s having finally hung it up, so there is a hole in services… Keep it up, SHCHD, and work on bringing Women’s Health, Detox and Rehab, Behavioral Health and all the other services needed in SoHum. For everyone else, send some money to the construction fund and let’s see how far they get with new buildings and services.

Well, Guest, COVID isn’t going to go away until many people have been exposed and recover, and many more have been vaccinated… It may not go away even then…

Expect COVID to return seasonally, slightly different, and following the patterns of other respiratory viruses.

Take your Vitamin D, do up a multivitamin daily, eat healthy, watch your weight, take care of your medical issues and continue the pattern of social distancing.

I hate to say it, but, yes, those damn masks are in our futures together, and so is the continued fear and loathing, and all the rest of the stupid conspiracy theories.

Science is not a plot to control you, and Immunology is not something to fear. The government, should well be feared…

Over time that is most likely. Waves move over time as part of their nature. Cherry picking to tout political preference in a pandemic is pathetic. And frankly what people will and won’t do is just as much a fact to be dealt with as the virus itself. And youth will feel invulnerable so party, the religious will attend church, the left will march in protests, etc etc etc.

Places like China, where the government can say whatever they want and haul people off to jail for making contrary remarks on the internet, use the military to quarantine millions at a time without recourse is not going to be doable in the US however liberals think they want it.

Now being an island government with a very restrictive border control and uniform population can control the virus but the very loudest of complainers in the US are those who frustrate any effective border control and insist diverse populations have right not to be controlled. They just don’t like the nasty results of getting their way.

Not likely at all due to different symptoms and courses of illness. But certainly those vulnerable to be killed by any illness are not here to be killed by the flu if they have already been killed by covid-19 and if the rest of the population are kept isolated from each other, both the flu and covid spread is less likely. It’s not a telling fact that flu is less prevalent. It’s a natural result of both being primarily respiratory illness. Coincidence is not proof covid is no more than the flu however you want to make it so.

Only 10 cases today. Flu season routinely ends next month, you don’t say. After all the scared of covid people get vaccinated, cases will be at zero, cause the rest of us won’t bother getting tested. So get your vaccine dramaqueens, so we can get back to huge weddings, concerts, baseball games etc. This summer is going to be badas , we are about 2 months away from zero cases and all hell is going to break loose. Be alot of craziness and unnecessary deaths due to playing too hard, dam it. Better shelter in place Karen’s, gotta make up for lost time.

Overturning great policies the Trump administration had in place, even tho I didn’t like Trump, he did make some great policies. Now we are bombing Syria and all of this is pure insanity. 5 weeks in office.

FDR issued 1 executive order every 1.18 days over his terms. (The most by any president at 3721 in 12.12 years)

Biden has issued 1 executive order every 0.625 days over his term, so far. (56 in his first 35 days)

Here’s a list of the EO’s signed by Biden which includes whether they reverse a Trump-era executive order or policy.

https://edition.cnn.com/interactive/2021/politics/biden-executive-orders/index.html

Now which ones are the ones you thought were great policies?

As far as being lied to or tricked, these seem exactly like what he said he was going to do on the campaign trail — rejoin the Paris Accord on climate, remove restrictions on LGBQT persons in the military or immigration, quits withdrawal from WHO, stop the border wall emergency funding, stopping family separation at the border, etc. He repeatedly said all of those things during the campaign.

But you do of antifa’s violence. Or BLM’s. I was just pointing out that either one is peaceful or one is dragged into violence. Like one is either law abiding or one is not. There are extremes for most individuals where they set a principle aside for another principle but once it becomes an automated reaction, like in defending others, the first principle no longer has power. It is in the hands of the “others” for whom you have agreed to act. You get dragged further and further from the first principle without being able to choose any more. You don’t get off the hook by not approving. It becomes immaterial whether you approve or not once you make that choice. You have bought into the second principle and all it entails.

Kym,
Do you approve of CDC’s numbers?

The shot mortality rate numbers you have quoted are, well for lack of a better term,
“Numbers of Mass Ressurection”.

Do you believe in Ressurection, Kym?

What about Mass Ressurection?

You see,
63,000,000 shots times a CDC stated .0015%
Mortality Rate =
only 945 associated deaths.
But the CDC number is 1,099 ??????

154 people came back to life ??????

Down even 132 from the previous 1077 estimate at the 41,000,000 shot
mark ????

Cue the Twilight Zone Theme Song….

Maybe they just kooked, and really meant to say out of
73,266,667 shots ????

(73,266,667×.0015%=
1,099)

Maybe the CDC acronym now stands for Center for Deceptive Control?

They are representing the chance of dying from a Covid19 shot
Is 22 out of the last
22 million doses.

.000001 chance

A .0001% miraculously magical, mortality rate!

The chance just unbelievably improved to,

“One in a Million”!!!!!

(Down, mysteriously, over 96% from the previous 41,000,000
doses, where over 26
people died out of a million)

.00002626829

(.0026% shot mortality)

Something smells rotten in Denmark.

I’m not getting the wool pulled over my eyes, are you ?

Am I hallucinating, or do you see it, too ?

If I am missing something, please, enlighten me.

Last year as summer heat came on the western U.S. saw a spike in Covid cases and deaths. The hottest places with no seasonal summer flu such as Arizona were the hardest hit. Cases per capita there were among the highest in the world during the summer. So, I think your covid is the flu theory and it will just “go away” seasonally has already been (tragically) proven wrong last year.

The hoax theory however much you push it just isn’t relevant anymore, its insulting. There are now millions of Americans that have lost someone they know or love. However much we’d all like to pretend that the pandemic isn’t real, it won’t bring back our dead friends or family. That’s the reality many are dealing with now. If you have not been touched by the pandemic and experienced severe illness or death within your circles, you are blessed and fortunate.

Former CDC director Thomas Friedan – via the nominally “conservative” Wall Street Journal– dropped the shoe that the grassroots right has warned would drop since the lockdowns began:

“Going through the five phases of grief, we need to come to the acceptance phase that our lives are not going to be the same. I don’t think the world has really absorbed the fact that these are long-term changes.”

-Thomas Friedan, CDC Director, Feb 2021

Friedan and the WSJ are here to ensure that you absorb that lesson, internalize it, and, ultimately, regurgitate it to cull others. In this way, the prisoner erects his own prison – of his own volition.

“The nature of psychological compulsion is such that those who act under constraint remain under the impression that they are acting on their own initiative. The victim of mind-manipulation does not know that he is a victim. To him the walls of his prison are invisible, and he believes himself to be free. That he is not free is apparent only to other people.”

Your Aldous Huxley quote is perfect… particularly, “The victim of mind-manipulation does not know that he is a victim.” Interesting to note, as well, how these “victims” seem so compelled to lash out at those of us who raise alarm about the dangers of scientific and technological control. My alarm I keep mostly to myself, and if I encounter the lashing out, I usually just mention to the person that I hope they get better soon. It is a sincere wish. Animosity plays so rough, you know?
