57 New Cases Reported Since Friday

Press release from Humboldt County Joint Information Center:

Covid purple Tier

A total of 3,124 Humboldt County residents have tested positive for COVID-19 after 57 new cases have been reported since Friday.

Recent reports from local providers indicate that some patients seeking care for mild cold- or allergy-like symptoms test positive for COVID-19. Health officials point out that many people who contract the virus will experience mild symptoms, which makes it more likely an infected person will pass the virus along to others before they realize they’re sick and possibly expose someone who could be more prone to complications.

Public Health officials renewed their call for community members to get tested regularly, saying anyone who thinks they have a cold, food poisoning or allergies should isolate and get tested for COVID-19. For a full list of no-cost testing options, go to humboldtgov.org/COVIDTestRegistration.

Humboldt County Public Health, in partnership with local approved vaccinators, is planning three large-scale vaccination clinics this week where approximately 2,500 vaccines are expected to be administered. Of those, 1,500 are scheduled as second doses and 1,000 as first doses. Vaccination is available by appointment to people age 70 and over, health care workers, K-12 educators and support staff, emergency services workers and licensed child care providers. County residents can be notified when an appointment is available for their age group by filling out the online COVID-19 Vaccine Interest Form.

To complete the Interest Form in English, visit humboldtgov.org/InterestForm.

🕯🌳Fauci said in an interview on Sunday that we might be wearing masks until 2022. Boris Johnson the Prime Minister of England in agreement with 4 scientists said we should except the virus like the flu and learn to live with it every year. 🖖🖖

Yeah, all the “ shut everything down and don’t go outside “ people need to learn to live with the fact that one day you might get sick and die. Get over it

I agree that “SHUT IT ALL DOWN”!!! is in fact, hysteria. And life is risky. Sure. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t mitigate reasonably to minimize potential of exposure. Sure, life is risky, but that doesn’t mean one shouldn’t look both ways before crossing the street, right? Nor does it mean one should blow by the school bus (in one’s car) at 80 mph, right? One still has a responsibility to take care of themselves and their community with reasonable precautions.

“But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t mitigate reasonably to minimize potential of exposure.”

Your idea needs a little expansion, Donovan.

The theory behind Herd Immunity is that you DO want healthy people to be out-and-about. E.g : exposure. This current crazyness is bass-ackwards for sure.

Also a theory, that’s what the “vaccine” is supposed to do. Exposure.

Isn’t Fauxci the guy who first told us masks were not necessary, then that one was required, then that we need to double up? Maybe he is just trying to see at what point reasonable people stop paying attention to him entirely.

Your statement is quite simply not true. Fauxci started off with something along the lines of, “There’s no reason to be walking around wearing a mask.” I think even the bullshit fact-checkers some are so fond of won’t deny it. He later changed his tune (multiple times).

“There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And, often, there are unintended consequences — people keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.”
-Fauci

He certainly said it. He has since changed his mind.

I think you missed the point, Ice.

I’m pretty sure I Like Star’s question was a rhetorical one.

Maybe HE is just trying to see at what point reasonable people stop paying attention to HIM entirely.

Apparently not yet.

No offense, Ice, it means you are reasonable.

I find the whole Fauci mask flip-flop-flap to be so, well, outdated.

Heard the latest rumor?
Supposedly if you’ve had Covid19 you might only need one shot, and you’ll still be much better protected and be able to fend off the B.1. 351 variant much better than someone who hasn’t gotten Covid19 and then received two shots.

Unfortunately, the side effects of the first shot in recovered Covid19 cases may be more severe.
But a second shot provides no additional benefit.

It has been recommended for approval, and if so, I could see how it could maximize the potential of the first available shots.

Food for thought.

I’d say weigh this new information carefully, and judge for yourself.

It’s hot off the press, and the observations may not have been interpreted correctly

It is from multiple studies, lab settings, not real life, yet.

I’m still not totally convinced getting a shot(s) after a case of Covid19 won’t just create some sort of new monster.

There are a lot of mysterious outbreaks in nursing homes after vaccinations.

They didn’t foresee the more severe side effects in people getting their first shot post Covid19.

They probably didn’t foresee it if it’s creating a hybrid.

Especially after the second shot.
A lot of nursing home folks are getting sick after the shots.

Coincidental outbreaks don’t improve vaccine confidence
in my opinion.

Stay well.

This IS worth reading and addresses the use of aluminum nanoparticles (adjuvants) in vaccines which cross the blood-brain barrier (and stay there). It’s my understanding that the mRNA vaccines do not contain these adjuvants, but most likely the new Johnson & Johnson “one shot” vaccine in development will, since it is based on the traditional vaccine model.

So, science is evolving? Wow, that’s interesting, says the guy that’s been making fun of the people who’ve been saying “TRUST THE SCIENCE!” Science is always evolving especially on new issue but this has largely been just stupid, example. Wash your hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap. What if you don’t have soap? Hmmm, 20 seconds under cold water will do the same with soap. What if you don’t have warm water or soap? Shit, yeah the science says 20 seconds is still fine. Just say we don’t know and we are trying our best instead of TRUST THE SCIENCE! New numbers are usually wrong in science anyways. Everyone that proves science wrong gets a Nobel prize. And news flash ten years down the road this will most likely all be junk science.

Nope watch the 60 Minutes interview clip. He says there is no reason for people to be walking around in an outbreak with a mask on. He says masks are to keep out droplets, not something small like a virus.

94% co-morbidity death rate
PCR false positives and doesn’t test for covid, because it can’t
vaccine creates auto-immune response and ultra sensitive to next corona virus
Masks increase infection, doesn’t stop viruses
30% of US schools are fully open, death rates are the same in open schools st vs. closed school st.
Update shot is being developed for 2022
40% of 2nd shot recipients have huge swollen arm and flu symptoms for 48hr

Millions will die from the next corona virus in 2022. Massive hyper inflation is coming. The price of goods will skyrocket. The US will enter into a major war with Iran after a false flag attack
at the end of this year. The dollar will collapse, grocery store shelves will be empty and bread will be $50.

Let’s look at some of those statements…

“94% co-morbidity death rate” this is meaningless without comparing to the number of people with those health issues who did not die of covid. Turns out most older people have at least one chronic health issue. who’d have thunk it? and they go on to lead long lives, if they don’t get covid.

” PCR false positives and doesn’t test for covid, because it can’t” simple bullshit. The false positive rate is very low. If the rate were not exceedingly close to zero, people who get tested weekly for work would randomly test positive – and they do not. And, it’s quite well demonstrated that it can test for covid.

” vaccine creates auto-immune response and ultra sensitive to next corona virus” And your evidence for this is… ?

” Masks increase infection, doesn’t stop viruses” again, what reliable source can you cite for this?

“30% of US schools are fully open, death rates are the same in open schools st vs. closed school st.” I’m too tired to google this to see if your numbers are even right, but given as most kids who are infected do not die, this is not surprising – but how about some numbers of how many grandparents of those kids died?

” Update shot is being developed for 2022″ yay, they’re continuing to work, not just sitting on their laurels and collecting cash.

” 40% of 2nd shot recipients have huge swollen arm and flu symptoms for 48hr” I haven’t seen any mention of huge swollen arms. and flu symptoms are an expected, documented side-effect.

“Millions will die from the next corona virus in 2022. ” especially if people like you spout bullshit that keeps people from preparing for one.

“Massive hyper inflation is coming. The price of goods will skyrocket. The US will enter into a major war with Iran after a false flag attack at the end of this year. The dollar will collapse, grocery store shelves will be empty and bread will be $50.” “THE END IS NIGH” has yet to be correct yet. How’d 2000 and 2012 work out for you?

“Buy bitcoin, silver and storable food.” because, obviously, if society is collapsing, your digital “currency” that is accepted nowhere, can’t be exchanged for cash, and might not even be accessible if there’s failure of power and telecoms, is somehow useful. Bitcoin is about the worst way of of preparing for a major malfunction of society, just behind putting your money in a pile and lighting it on fire.

Now, on to the first thing you said. There’s several options. Fauci could have been trying to save masks for hospitals. He could have been looking at studies for the wrong thing, that masks did not protect the wearer, without data about masks protecting other people from the wearer. He could also have simply been wrong. It happens. Now that further science has been done, he’s updated his opinions to match the science, rather than continuing to be wrong. What’s your excuse for not doing so?

Thank you for the response.

If this were a real pandemic, there wouldn’t need to be a 94% co-morbidity rate. The half a million dead of covid is inflated, considering that 94% or 450,000+ deaths had other complications related to their death.

The PCR test can be set to different cycles, which will guarantee a positive result. PCR tests don’t detect a particular virus, such as covid. The PCR test detects mucus in the body, which could be the result of a regular cold or flu, but all positive tests are recorded as “covid pos case.”

The mRNA vaccine has been shown to cause a severe auto immune response to future exposure to a corona virus. Dr. Tenpenny, among other 30 yr plus doctors, are referencing animal studies, where newly covid vaccinated rats were exposed to a corona virus; Over 10% died, and all became very sick.

Fauci himself said masks don’t stop virus, just droplets. In the same interview he mentioned that masks are a great source of cross contamination which we then stick against our mouths for hours a day. Also breathing in our own emissions can cause bacterial pneumonia.

Yes, 30% of US schools are fully open. States the have schools open have the same death rates as schools that are closed. Schools should be fully open, since it is proven that it can be done safely .

On top of the two shots, government officials admit another inoculation or update is being worked on for 2022 to combat variants. Officials state that we should expect to take a covid shot every year.

Medical professionals are detailing odd and significant reactions to the 2nd inoculation, which they have not seen with previous vaccines. The fact that the gov admits 40% have strong flu like symptoms after the second shot should be concerning considering that the covid vaccine doesn’t contain a live virus, but a synthetic substance that alters our DNA.

Millions of newly vaccinated people (vaccine will readily available to everyone by July), will be exposed to the next corona virus in 2021. They will have a heighten immune response, which will lead to an explosion of hospitalization and death.

The US has written a recorded amount of currency into existence with the covid relief packages, and more is on the way. World lending institutions are using a negative interest rate, which many economist have always thought would be the “white flag” for fiat currency. The current US administration is pro war, escalating conflicts with Syria, and taking a hostile stance with Iran. A false flag attack from Iran would bring us into a prolonged war, which would cause more money being created with defense legislation.

The recent jump in the value of bitcoin, shows that corporations and governments understand that fiat currency is in it’s last days. When hyper inflation hits, and food shortages begin, there will still be internet and electricity. I’ll be able to access my bitcoin, which is thought to have a 40x return in the long term, and projections of over 200k by the end of the year.

Fauci said in the 60 min interview what had been scientifically known for decades, masks can’t stop a virus particle, but can keep out droplets. Now that we are in a world government take over transition to a new world order, they want the symbol of a mask to represent complicity as well as keeping us separate from each other.

What does evolving information about hyper inflation mean to you?

Which came first , the chicken, or the egg?

The population growth, or the economic engine.?

Evolving information inside of a carefully padded room is irrelevant to those who are battling on all fronts to keep the banks, and state and local agencies from attaching a lein on your home, to keep those hungry and out of work from breaking in and stealing your property, and then the environment itself, the rain, the fires, the freezing temps in some places, etc.

But yes, by all means, let’s not focus on any of that stuff, when we can split Hairs about how propaganda can change the narrative right in front of our eyes, and we can completely miss the point of criticalthinking. …

The metro counties are having mass vacination sites that are doing everybody over 65 and here in Humboldt we can’t even do 70 plus. Are we getting out fair share of the vaccine?

There was no mask mandate in Florida but there was in California and they have about the same reported Covid deaths and way more elderly people then any other state. So that makes it totally obvious that masks do not work. This is more about control and muzzling people then preventing them from getting a virus. We need to wake up and stop all this total non sense. It is very insulting to intelligent folks.

crazy. i see people walking dogs with masks on and working in their yard wearing masks. i wonder to myself how easy it is to brain wash people. Sad really. Herd immunity however is starting to. maybe we shouldnt have tried to Slow the spread at all and we would have reached herd immunity faster. First off, you’ve shown how duped you are by “hysterical” right wing media by thinking we are in a “lockdown”.

Second, you’ve shown a propensity to ignore facts over and over, such that Sweden, by the numbers only, is no comparison for the US.

A small list of examples of difference would include facts like Swedes listen to the their health experts, already live a high class physically distanced life provided through Government provided internet, and they have one of the highest work-from-home economies in the world (pre-covid).

4th: Naomi Wolf. I’m sure that now that she’s on Fox with Tucker, saying things you already believe, you’re just tickled pink, feeling all sorts of pride and joy.

But guess why she isn’t really welcome anywhere else?

https://www.thecut.com/amp/2019/05/naomi-wolf-interview-book-error-bbc-interview.html

https://www.thecut.com/2019/10/naomi-wolfs-new-book-canceled-after-major-errors-discovered.html

Naomi Wolf’s publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt officially pulled the plug on releasing her new book in the United States, likely due to substantial errors discovered in the midst of an unfortunate press tour interview.

Trouble came for Wolf in May, during an interview with BBC radio host Matthew Sweet. Wolf told Sweet that her new book, Outrages: Sex, Censorship and the Criminalization of Love, delves into evidence she found of “several dozen executions” of men convicted of sodomy in Britain, which she inaccurately claimed “corrects a misapprehension … that the last man was executed for sodomy in Britain in 1835.” But as Sweet hastily pointed out, Wolf based much of her thesis on a misapprehension of the phrase “death recorded,” which she took to signify “execution” when in fact it meant the exact opposite thing — that the prisoner had been pardoned. “I don’t think any of the executions you’ve identified here actually happened,” Sweet informed her. He added that in the court records Wolf researched “sodomy” referred not only to homosexuality but to child abuse as well.

https://www.theguardian.com/books/2021/feb/08/naomi-wolf-accused-of-confusing-child-abuse-with-gay-persecution-in-outrages

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/05/books/review-outrages-naomi-wolf.html

Her first, career-making book, “The Beauty Myth,” is well-known for exaggerating the number of women who died of anorexia (Wolf stated that anorexia kills 150,000 women annually; the actual figure at the time, in the mid-1990s, was said to be closer to 50 or 60). One academic paper found that fully 18 of the 23 statistics about anorexia in the book were inaccurate and coined a term — “WOLF” (Wolf’s Overdo and Lie Factor) — to determine the degree to which Wolf was wrong: “On average, a statistic on anorexia by Naomi Wolf should be divided by eight to get close to the real figure.”

You should find better sources than Tucker and Wolf, Ullr.

They are crap, and you can’t spin them into gold.

They are not together on facts, they are together with ignorance.

That you still give credit to either personality spouting completely false rhetoric is not surprising to the regular rational readers here, surely.

Singapore, Thailand and S. Korea all have waaaaay better numbers than Sweden. Why the bias in comparison to the US?

When Tucker Carlson and Naomi Wolf are your sources, well…..

So, for people who are still learning in life, here is more on Sweden:

Concerns about a possible third wave of the pandemic have been growing in Sweden in recent weeks as the number of new infections rose and the new variants spread.

The government has laid the ground for potential lockdown measures to an extent not seen earlier during the pandemic.

Several of Sweden’s largest regions, including Stockholm, have also taken steps, such as recommending the use of masks in shops, workplaces and public transport.

https://www.rte.ie/news/coronavirus/2021/0223/1198710-covid-global/

The Swedish government relied on the Swedes’ self-discipline to battle the Covid-19 pandemic. Most of them supported its decisions and working from home became the norm. But in the end, calls to be responsible and socially distance proved insufficient. Although Sweden’s Covid-19 figures are no worse than the European average, the country has reported 10 times more deaths than its Scandinavian neighbours. FRANCE 24’s Clovis Casali reports from Sweden.:

Stockholm’s regional infectious disease doctor Maria Rotzén Östlund announced the new measures, which are effective immediately, at a press conference at 12.30pm, where she warned of a rise in the spread of infection.

The new recommendations include using face masks on public transport at all times, not just during rush hour, as well as in situations where close contact can’t be avoided, for example in the workplace, hairdressing salons, pharmacies or the supermarket.

“We need to increase the use of face masks a lot,” said Rotzén Östlund. “Put it on before you go into the shop,” she said, because you don’t know whether or not you’ll end up in a situation where you can’t keep a distance.

None of these foreign sources are trying to compare the Swede story to the US for confirmation bias ratings, either.

More parroting doesn’t make better parroting.

Zero deaths with or from Covid in Sweden today.

If you don’t like Sweden as an example how about Nepal or the entire continent of Africa.

Before I assume that you are darting from providing dubious informative resources at best, to advocating that we should aim to be more like some of the most impoverished regions in the world at worst – please, be clear about your point of Africa and Nepal and Covid?

(Yes, I read your links.)

I have a fondness for Belarus.

So do the ptb, so it’s questionable [again] how long it will remain a democracy.

Shouldn’t bioweapons be banned forever as a crime against humanity? Why is WHO funding these bioweapons labs. Evil Empires. It’s just crazy to trust bioweapons makers , “cure” 💉.

Thank you Jill! !!!

My sentiments exactly.

The conversation is rarely about why we build, create, deploy weapons of death destruction in our name, as a *defense mechanism* that will eventually be used against us… the simple hard working people trying to care for our families and friends and communities.

We are so busy arguing over the details, we lose sight of the big picture.

This whole comment section is sickening. Literally, because 60%+ of transmission is asymptomatic or pre symptomatic. This is why we cant have nice things.

Well Mr fogdog, death Is most assuredly coming for all of us. We all need to recognize the responsibility of preparing for that eventuality.

AND as I look through all my family photos, through the years, guess what?

No masks!!!!!!!

+1

I think people need to focus on life and death in the middle of a forced economic crisis…

You can’t ever be poor enough, sick enough, to help the poor and sick people of the world.

Raise the bar on our expectations of our quality of health and fitness, and you won’t ever have to worry about asymptomatic tunnel vision.

I fell for it pretty completely, at first, but then I had to ask myself,

Is “Trustworthy Tony” really worthy of our trust?

I fell for it pretty completely, at first, and then I had to mask myself.

He said fifteen days to flatten the curve.

To slow the spread.

But I asked myself, if you flatten the curve, don’t you end up extending the duration?

Sure enough. Job security?

Fauci has been mixed up in this subject for way to long.

https://www.law.cornell.edu…. This is the emergency authorization act that allowed them to bring the vaccine/product to market as experimental. Within the code it states that you have the right to refuse. This has been upheld in the Supreme Court when 6 soldiers challenged taking the anthrax vaccine. (Doe #1 vs Rumsfeld)
Interestingly, within the code, there can be no other approved treatment available in order to authorize emergency use – so now you see why they had to claim “unsafe side effects” or outright silence information on hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin.
