Drs hardly treat pain, even someone who has cancer. Legitimate pain treatment by dr is not the same as the war on street drugs. Legitimate pain clinic patients guard their meds like gold and do not over use them. An elderly person in pain should not be turned away to suffer and cry alone at home. They are not the problem with drug war but drs are afraid to prescribe.
