[UPDATE 11:49 a.m.] One Being Extricated After Crash at H and 7th in Eureka

Two vehicles collided at H and 7 Street in Eureka at approximately 11:30 a.m., according to the scanner. The driver of one vehicle needs extrication.

7th Street is being blocked from G Street east as emergency personnel deal with the situation. H Street is blocked at 7th.

UPDATE 11:43 a.m.:

The patient has minor injuries.

UPDATE 11:49 a.m.: The roadways are reopening.

Person in the little car faired pretty well considering it was hit by the Ford F-250. Hope all will be fine. People please drive safe. A little higher speed and the car driver could have been easily killed.

The lady in the small car ran the stop light. Thank goodness the pickup was driving the speed limit.
