Humboldt County Woman’s Remains Found Inside Suspicious Object in Oregon
Press release from Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon:
On January 18th, shortly before 9:00 a.m., a Yamhill County citizen located a suspicious object near the entrance to Stuart Grenfell Park, which is located at the intersection of Highway 18 and Harmony Road in rural Sheridan. The property owner promptly called law enforcement.
Yamhill County Deputies arrived on scene and began an investigation, eventually requesting response from the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit (SIU). SIU members identified the contents as human remains. The remains were removed from the scene and transported to the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office.
On January 19th the remains were confirmed to be that of an adult female. The female was later identified as 31-yr old Mariah Diane Lindgren. The last known address for Lindgren is [Humboldt] County, California. Lindgren was known to have been in the Grand Ronde and Willamina areas for the past few weeks.
Anyone who may have had contact with Lindgren or noted any suspicious activity in the area of Stuart Grenfell Park on or around January 18th is encouraged to contact the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office at 503-434-7506. Please reference case number 21-171.
The Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office was assisted with the investigation by the Oregon State Police and the West Valley Fire District.

Rip Mariah, and to her sister moe,so sorry to hear of your loss I think we are all in shock hearing about this dont get me wrong Mariah was a troubled young lady but whoever did this you are a piece of shit this girl needed some mental health counseling and to get away from the meth, period. not to die and not like that. the murder investigation makes it sound like she was dismembered and put in an ice chest or a tote or something whoever you are ? your a sick and twisted mother f’er! have you not heard of karma? your days are numbered because the mistress karma is real folks, once again Moe we love you may the good Sheppard look after you and yours and light the way for law enforcement to make an arrest and to act swiftly and decisively…
Why would you slander someone’s mental health and say anything to discredit them. She was a person. Period. [edit] A simple you would be missed would have more than adequate.
Could have just been a sleeping bag.., if it was in a suspicious place.
So heartbreaking. Mariah was a beautiful person that had some serious struggles but this is not how her life should have ended. My heart goes out to her family and all who knew her. Praying that answers are found and whoever is responsible is caught and receives full punishment. .

These types of press releases are usually deliberately vague in order to withhold information from the public that could impact the ongoing murder investigation.
When I drove past the scene up tuh two days prior being I commute through that general pass everyday there was afew grocery bags in the ditch by the enterance an I think that’s what she was in.. the day it was found the road was cut off from both ends and had road flares and a forensic team, an what appeared to be a tarp or sheet with body parts on it… don’t want anyone getting mad at me or calling me disrespectful, just sayin what I seen driving past to McMinnville from grand ronde
By chance can someone share a pic of this young woman for those of us who don’t know her that have been to the casino recently? Might help get some leads/answers. My heart goes out to those who know and love Mariah and send strength and patience moving forward as they continue with the investigation
Condolences to her family. Everyone, Please don’t let her death be in vain… There’s help for problems of every kind & people really care. It’s said that hard core addictions often end in death or jail. If anyone is struggling, please find help. So sad, but overcoming problems is a big part of life.
we want answers yamhill county..now!! more bodies found..no warning no info no nothing…come on cops..stop chasing arround cars stopping at pols housing telling trade or ticket or resaling the product u put out and go get the murders the real murders…not set up innocent and terrorize good ppl. end this violation upon us and give us answers..

Man this women was young… she had a long life ahead of her, I didn’t know her but those her do seem to mention mental illness.. whoever did this is still out there.. be safe everyone !
