[W]e are seeking information to help identify the Lost Coast Bandit. This bank robber is responsible for three bank robberies in Eureka and Arcata. Any information should be reported to law enforcement. To contact the FBI with information that may help identify this subject, please report tips to tips.fbi.gov or call 415-553-7400.

This bank robber robbed banks in Northern California. In all three instances, the individual entered a branch office of Coast Central Credit Union, passed a note threatening to shoot the teller and/or all customers if any alarms were activated or dye packs deployed. The first two robberies occurred in Arcata, California, at the Coast Central Credit Union F Street branch on December 18, 2020, and January 8, 2021. The third robbery occurred at the Bay Shore Mall branch in Eureka, California, on January 16, 2021. His good posture has been noted by witnesses. His notes are unique with all caps writing and strange phrases.

Went into Umpqua the other day and they had me unmask for a few seconds while I faced one of the many cameras. Then I was told I could mask up and proceed to a teller. About time a bank gets it right. I thought it odd that banks were allowing masks. Pre-covid, I was always asked to remove my fullface motorcycle helmet when entering any bank.
