State Officials Tell Counties to ‘Pause’ Administration of Vaccine Lot

Humboldt COunty COVID-19 InformationPress release from the Humboldt County Joint Information Center:

The California State Epidemiologist recommended to local health offices last night that they pause administration of a single lot of COVID-19 vaccines, after a disproportionate number of severe adverse reactions was reported at a vaccination clinic in San Diego.

The lot, Moderna 041L20A, consists of 330,000 doses, a week’s worth of vaccines for the state, and as much as 90% of the doses the Humboldt County Public Health has on hand for vaccinations at its clinics this week.

Humboldt County Public Health officials have administered “hundreds” of doses from the lot, Health Officer Dr. Ian Hoffman said, with no severe or unusual reactions noted.

The lot number is written on the COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card given to individuals at the time of their vaccination. Any adverse reaction would occur immediately, usually within the first few minutes and certainly within 24 hours.

No vaccine from that lot has been administered by Public Health or its partners within the past 24 hours, and none from the lot will be administered until or unless the state determines the lot is safe to use.

Humboldt County Public Health has 3,500 doses from Moderna 041L20A in its freezer, 1,600 designated for first doses and 1,900 intended for second doses. Local providers have additional doses, but with “no replacement options at this time,” Dr. Hoffman said.

Public Health clinics scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week may be impacted by the pause. People with appointments or invitations to be vaccinated will be contacted if appointments need to be canceled or rescheduled.

Dr. Hoffman also said it was possible the state might conclude the vaccine is safe and release the rest of the lot. “Obviously the goal for all of us is keeping people safe,” Dr. Hoffman said. “We’re going to pause as recommended until we hear more from the state, but without replacement doses, we’re balancing one set of risks against another.”

Investigation into the lot is led by the manufacturer, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration.

“.. as much as 90% of the doses th(at) Humboldt County Public Health has on hand for vaccinations at its clinics this week…. AND …
Humboldt County Public Health officials have administered “hundreds” of doses from the lot…”

What a $*** $how! Like the next batch will be better .

Anyone that signs on for this rush “jab” is being manipulated and f****** lied to.

It’s scientific slurry they cooked up in a hurry on a two-burner stove out back. What a joke.

Good things take time. And We’d barely learned covid19 even existed 12 month ago, but miraculously there is a *safe vaccine* available now? That’s not logical.

Do your own research.

While research has indicated there is some proven effectiveness in animals mRNA vaccines are not *proven* to be safe, or even that effective in humans, because there has been no long-term use, and observation in humans! This is it. We are watching it real time. Like a train wreck.

And safety issues aside, PLEASE research the effectiveness. I have. It’s laughable.

It purports to offer minimal short term “immunity” (90-95% so already 5-10% are SOL) Some indications of waning “immunity” within months! So then what? Are you going to get this covid19 vax every year? Every 6months?

And what of the variant strains? Will you rush out and take a separate vaccine for those?

And remember this. Reactions and ill-outcomes are typically downplayed by doctors, the patient is made out to be crazy, or symptoms are chalked up to “coincidence.”

So OF COURSE there are few “reported” reactions.

Those a**h**** don’t care about you! Or your health.

IMO
Risking your life, and long-term health attempting to vax against a viral infection (that for the majority lasts 3weeks) is a serious GAMBLE.

Use your brain people.
And fortify.

From the press release:

Fewer than 10 individuals required medical attention over the span of 24 hours. Out of an extreme abundance of caution and also recognizing the extremely limited supply of vaccine, we are recommending that providers use other available vaccine inventory and pause the administration of vaccines from Moderna Lot 041L20A until the investigation by the CDC, FDA, Moderna and the state is complete. We will provide an update as we learn more.”

Less than 10.

And the industry is being transparent and forthcoming.

And that is much more than the anti-vax crowd that will fill the thread with ‘lining up’ for certain death as a Munster family member, because vaccines are ‘killing people around the world’……and take your vitamins.

10 people in the icu due to COVID-19 is not ok, but 10 people in the icu from the vaccine is just fine. You must be the local pharm rep.

Neither is true, though.

I don’t know why you talk to me or DQ, LR.

You are here to comment for comedy, not to learn anything…and those are your words.

So then you reply some dumbass statement to some intelligent comment. Like above. And it’s neither funny or intelligent.

Which basically makes you a liar.

10 people IN THE WHOLE STATE had adverse reactions to this lot batch, none in the County.

10 in the WHOLE STATE.

And they are not in the ICU.

Now, I bet on your own little training wheels I just provided you, you’ll be ablev th o figure out why the 2nd half of your dumb and not funny response was off.

So not one person was hospitalized from an adverse affect from the vaccine? You are a true politician. Are you sure you’re not a pharm rep.? Just a quick search brings up multiple cases of people hospitalized for allergic reactions to COVID-19 vaccine. So that means i am telling the truth and you are lying as usual.

You’re telling me that of those 10 in the whole State with adverse reactions to the vaccine lot batch, you have evidence one is in the “ICU”?

Give it up or shut it up.

Where did my comment say 10 in this state. So only icu cases in California count? So lives in the other 49 states have no value. You sure your not a big pharm rep.?

Until then, how many people did Trump beat in his first and 2nd run for Presidency?

Would you like me to compile the list?

From Mitt to Andrew Yang to Jo Jorgenson to Hillary Clinton and everyone who never made it to his position but tried in the last 2 elections?

Trump secured more voters (75 mil-ish) than any sitting President and it would have been a record flat out if Joe didn’t pull another 10 million voters on top of that.

And you’re like, “There’s a million Joe’s”.

Except there aren’t.

I know kym I know it sounds like some of us dont care. We of course do. Im just hoping that since we have had 25 mill cases that we are starting to get some herd immunity considering we have way more that have been positive and non symptomatic. If we don’t then we are in big trouble. 5 percent of them have super anti bodies. This virus is simply natural evolution. We are dying of starvation at a much faster rate. Population increases at 230 k a day globally.

This is a typical time for any flu, virus , cold to peak. Flu season is dec thru feb. Funny how the media never covered the 500 people that died every day during flu season for the last 20 years, and how hospitals would near capacity.

The 2017-2018 flu strain killed roughly 500 people a day at its peak, and it was almost continuously in the news. Normally, the death toll for flu seasons is much less severe.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017%E2%80%932018_United_States_flu_season

Even if 500 per day were normal, a sevenfold increase is definately news worthy.

Wow, what a poorly written article, no numbers, not even dated. I would expect no less from Newsmax.

The current number seems to be more like a 93% decline from last year, which was on the high end of average.

“Any adverse reaction would occur immediately, usually within the first few minutes and certainly within 24 hours.”

And if something adverse happens at 25 hours it is not related to the vaccine… I have my doubts on their “certainty”.
