This ‘Friendly’ Boy is Looking for a Forever Home

This information is provided by Petharbor.com. If you know someone who can help get this animal into a forever home, please pass this along to them.

My name is COOPER. I am a neutered male, white and brown Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old. I have been at the shelter since Dec 29, 2020.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: COOPER

Is a friendly boy who gets very excited to be around people. He’s playful, knows sit, can be jumpy and would do well with an obedience class or two to learn how to be the best boy he can. Cooper currently weighs in at 61lbs.

For more information about this animal, call:

A beautiful dog for sure. But he looks pretty pit bull rather than hound in that photo.

They know not to call a dog a pit bull. Pit bulls kill and attack. They are unpredictable and are banned in many places and for a good reason. Again, the animal shelter is putting the public at risk

I would say he looks like he has a hint of St. Bernard in him. He appears to be a happy fellow. Beautiful dog. Sounds like he is filled with enthusiasm and ready to leave the shelter with a human who will help channel that.
