Shooting in Eureka

Officers arrived at the 100 block of West Del Norte to find a person down in the roadway. An ambulance was called for a male with a gunshot to his left leg. The officer said he was conscious and breathing but in a lot of pain.
“He was also shot in the abdomen,” the officer added a few seconds later.
According to a neighbor, he and his wife heard “burst of gun shots.” Then a car sped away down Pine towards the 20-30 Park, he said.
One officer said over the scanner that a residence had been struck by a bullet also. He indicated he was concerned for the inhabitants, but a few minutes later was able to contact the occupant who was uninjured.

I think we captured the vehicle speeding away. Vehicle ran a stop sign, almost T boned a truck, and sped away.

Looks like a dark colored 2 door coupe possibly . But most likely this occurred at the low income apts. they were over at my apt.

Sideswiped or T Boned as in 90°
T Boned. There was a truck driving up West Hawthorne as the possible gunmen’s vehicle ran the stop sign at Pine Street and almost T Boned a white truck. The parked truck was not involved.
Citizens policing Americans this has to be stopped
It’s called concerned citizens looking out for other concerned citizens…
Police will tell you they count on witnesses and information from those in the area. They can’t be all places at all times. Get a license plate number when you can and physical description of people involved.
