[UPDATE: Missing Again] 12-Year-Old Weaverville Runaway Sought by Trinity County Sheriff’s Department

Skye Greenway
On January 11, 2021 at approximately 1:15 pm, a twelve-year-old female identified as Skye Greenway, ran away from the area of Industrial Parkway in Weaverville, CA.
Law Enforcement has been attempting to locate Skye; however, thus far their attempts have been unsuccessful.
If anyone has information pertaining to Skye’s whereabouts, please immediately contact the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office at 530-623-8126.
A photograph of Skye has been submitted to this Press Release. Skye’s physical identifiers are referenced below:
Height: 5’1”
Weight: 110 Lbs.
Hair: Brown long
Eyes: Brown
Race: Caucasian
Identifying marks: None noted
Date of Birth: March 19, 2008
UPDATE Friday: According to the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, “On January 14, 2021, Skye Greenway was located in the area of Redding, CA. Skye was in good health and uninjured.”

How sad. I will definitely be keeping an eye out since I live off of highway 299. Any idea the direction she took? Did she leave with a backpack? Might she be with friends or camping in the woods somewhere? I hope she is found soon safe and sound.
Or just at a friend’s. But either way I hope she makes contact with her family. I have 2 daughter’s, and it is definitely a hard time to be a kid/teen right now. Adults get so caught up in what is hard for them sometimes that they forget to check in with their kids, and its even harder for kids not to be able to check in with their friends. Hoping for a safe return home.

She looks so sweet…hang in there, young girl…You will get thru this and can have a good life. Many many ppl are willing yo help you! Bury yourself in books & nature walks, dance with fairies in the forest…Try to eat apples, cheese, bread… Keep yourself as clean & bathed as you can, even in mountain streams. This will lift your spirits & guide you on your way. Reach out to a trusted teacher or friend. All the Best will come to you!

If anyone knows where she is, PLEASE contact the TC Sheriff. She is at terrible risk and may need medical attention. If she is where I think she is, She is NOT in a good place.
I was just wondering are there any updates on this girl? Since she was with mom last time has anyone checking with mom to see if she knows anything.
It seems like she is having a problem with her placement. Has anyone talked to her about what the issues are? I know from a little experience about foster kids leaving there placement home because of things going on unreported in the house.
My daughter had a friend that used to hide at my house because of treatment in her placement residence. We finally got the case worker to listen to her issues and she stayed home at her next home and my daughter’s friend graduated highschool.
Let’s be supportive to the ‘whole’ family because helping her includes helping her folks! They are her world weather we like it or not. Please just call someone you trust sweetie, a lot of people care about you! ❤️ It’s going to work out, I promise!
