This ‘Polite and Well-Behaved’ Guy is Looking for a Good Home

This information is provided by Petharbor.com. If you know someone who can help get this animal into a forever home, please pass this along to them.

My name is JAKE. I am a neutered male, white and tricolor Border Collie mix. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old. I have been at the shelter since Nov 13, 2020.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: JAKE

Jake is a nice-looking tricolor collie-type dog, perhaps smooth-coated border collie? He came in with his best friend Ginger when their owner was hospitalized and could no longer care for them. Jake is very polite and well-behaved, and a bit uncertain about why he is at the shelter and not home. He walks beautifully on the leash and is working on his confidence. He is very sweet and loving, with a curious observant side. He really loves to be petted! He’s rather small-boned and could stand to slim down a bit. He knows sit, shake, lay down on your bed, and probably more commands. He would be an easy keeper! Jake would do best with older children. Jake weighs in at 67lbs.
