Major Injury Crash North of Leggett on Hwy 101

An ambulance responded to a solo vehicle crash on Hwy 101 near mile marker 98.3 north of Leggett which occurred just before noon today. One person, at this point, is known to have major injuries, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Rick Fowler.

There were multiple people in the vehicle. At this point, Fowler hasn’t been able to speak to officers on the scene because of cell phone issues so he doesn’t know how many. However, reportedly a five-year-old child is in the vehicle.

The vehicle, a Toyota Sienna has major front end damage after striking a tree, but is not blocking the road.
