This is a press release from the Humboldt County Drug Task Force. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
On October 29th, 2020, special agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force (HCDTF), with assistance from the Eureka Police Department POP Team, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), served search warrants at three residences in the unincorporated areas of Eureka. These search warrants were in response to a seizure by Customs Agents in Peru who intercepted multiple packages containing large quantities of Oxycodone that were being shipped to the above-mentioned Eureka addresses.
Agents served the first search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of Allard Ave. in Eureka and Agents detained Major Neil Gutierrez Flores (41 years old from Peru). Inside his residence agents located approx. 1/4 pound of methamphetamine and 1,000 Oxycodone pills.
Agents served the second search warrant in the 5700 block of Humboldt Hill Rd. in Eureka.
Agents detained John Alberto Gutierrez Flores (37 years old from Peru). Inside his residence agents located approx. 300 Oxycodone pills.
Agents served the third search warrant in the 2100 block of Serenity Ln. in Eureka.
This residence belonged to the sister of the previous two detained males. She was not located at home and no pills or drugs were located.
At all three residences agents located financial documents showing the suspects wiring large amounts of money back to Peru and they were in possession of packaging materials showing they have received multiple packages from Peru in the past year.
The Flores brothers were both booked into custody at the Humboldt County Jail for the following charges:
- H&S 11351 Possession of controlled substances for sale
H&S 11378 Possession of methamphetamine for sale

So can we just send them back home and let their own customs officers deal with them. I’m sure they are more likely to prosecute successfully than Humboldt County DA office of no drug protections. Buy a one way ticket and save tax payers money.
That’s for personal use. That much wouldn’t last a chronic back or hips more than a few months.
The speed is definitely a black mark though
No charge of Intent To Sell…?!
That’s what both charges are
They certainly would be punished more appropriately in Peru than in Druggiefornia.
Send them back with the giant guinea pigs they rode in on!
DACA coyotes ?
Innocent until Peru-vin guilty.
Snort
Peru isn’t know for this type of thing and their jails are like motels. Where’s the yayo. Peruvian flakes and rocks? Oxycodone is kiddie shit. For the love of god theres got to be a flake rock or line some place! Talk about not living up to potential. My second grade teacher would be disappointed.
