Press release from Trinity County Public Health Branch:

Today, October 28, 2020, Trinity County Public Health Branch (TCPHB) received notification of a lab confirmed case of COVID-19 in a symptomatic individual.

TCPHB has identified sectors that are potential sources of exposure. We ask the public to monitor for symptoms consistent with COVID-19 and consider getting tested if you visited any Bars in Weaverville on Friday, October 16th between the hours of 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm as well as Bars and Restaurants/Cafés in Weaverville on Saturday, October 17, 2020 between the hours of 1:30 pm and 6:00 pm.

The Surveillance and Control Team (SCT) is currently contacting individuals to ensure all positive cases isolate and all exposed persons are identified and notified. All close contacts and other exposed persons will be quarantined and monitored for symptoms by PHB-SCT. We want to remind our residents to please respond to correspondence and calls from TCPHB as required for case investigation and contact tracing.

As a reminder, the need to practice social distancing of at least 6 feet, frequent hand washing and sanitizing of surfaces, as well as wearing a face covering as mandated by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Governor’s Office, remains essential in preventing the spread of COVID-19. TCPHB continues to work closely with CDPH, advocating for expanded testing access for Trinity County residents.

It’s been 11 days. Symptoms would have already shown up.

Took 16 for me.

5-10% of symptomatic cases show after 14 days.

Lots of Covid test results in Trinity are still taking 10 days to get, which sucks.

TRB- Did not know you caught that. Hope you are recovered and feeling better! Do you know where you got it or how? Understand if you don’t want to share but I find personal stories more effective than the media blitz. Take care- you’ve earned my respect on this site.

Thanks, Kym.
Thank you very much, actually, for giving us all a heads up about this sort of thing.
And yeah, us locals do have family over there that this might be relevant to, so, it means a lot.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if you have saved somebody’s life with all of your efforts and heads ups on all subjects hazardous, and quite probably many.
Pretty Cool.
You make it look easy, but I know that is not the case, that’s not how dedication works.
When you do finally get some well deserved rest, rest assured, you are saving lives.
I am giving you the recognition you deserve because their names won’t be making to the news.
That’s a very good thing.

With a name like that i wouldnt be surprised if theres a job title in there who’s role it is to find and monitor “skeptics”. You know like on this local site. Dont be too surprised by bastards “just doing their jobs”

Nazi Germany, 1938. They probably had a “surveillance and control team.” I think it was the SS.

Anyone who really wants to know what is happening go to STOPTHECRIME on youtube or the website. Barbara Traverse has been the only source of factual truth I even listen to anymore.

“Census Bureau stats show an increasing number of people are struggling with rent, food, and job losses due to Covid.”

Simple and straightforward data.
