Meanwhile, Trump is calling Fauci an idiot. Also, telling people they shouldn’t vote for Biden, because “he’ll listen to the scientists.” Really.

Yeah, it’s a shame isn’t it?

The scientists are the reason we’re under the pandemic of the Wuhan Virus. The creators did a great job. I question why anybody should listen nor even trust scientists concerning the elimination of the Wuhan. I’m not saying all scientists are crazy, mind you … but I say those scientists WHO established this virus are criminals.

Plus Fauci, in my opinion is an idiot. I 1 on 1 battled the scientist in 1996 over the 215 and its’s efficacy to ease the dying of AIDS patients. He was then an idiot. Fauci would’ve killed the Compassionate Use Act if he could’ve overcome our side’s overwhelming understanding of cannabis.

Trumps words and values represent many Americans. I feel the same way about Fauci. He has gotten tons of credit and produced few results. Fauci told us don’t wear masks and then says wear masks. Fauci could have let us let us know this virus was aerosol transmission much earlier, he failed. Fauci failed to protect us from the virus, bottom line. And for all his missteps Fauci gets a his mug on a baseball card? Trump is the voice of many Americans! Democrats are to blame, in large part due to distracting our government with their witch hunt impeachment and paved the way for the virus to ge a foothold in this country.

Yes you are correct. He Certainly represents my families views. If you are afraid of getting the flu , you should stay home and hide (and maybe In so doing, work to address your often self imposed Comorbidity/ health issues) . Thank you self-centered citizen. Many folks with compromised immune systems as the result of cancer and other diseases work full-time. So we should become unemployed because we have a disease or are being treated for cancer? Yea well there goes the health insurance that is keeping us alive.

Chris Christie, the former New Jersey governor who was recently battling a coronavirus infection, said on Thursday that he was “wrong” not to wear a mask at an event honoring Judge Amy Coney Barrett and in his debate preparation sessions with President Trump, and that people should take the threat of the virus seriously.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/15/us/politics/chris-christie-face-masks-covid.html

I wonder, if Herman Cain were here today, what would he say?

Chris Christie is also fatter than a damn cow on slaughtering day, he SHOULD take it seriously. What a dope. But…all things considered, he survived didn’t he? Even though because of his obesity and age he would be in the highest risk group? I’m assuming because of his large size he also has high blood pressure, heart issues, and possibly diabetes. Maybe that is someone who should watch out.

That’s it right there 1911.

Wearing masks in the pandemic playoffs is a team sport.

We help each other by wearing masks.

Christie could have been protected by other peoples actions, the only choice the ignorance of Trump left him was to stay home or get infected.

Just that they are not more important. What you are saying that everyone else is unimportant because a few have a compromised immune system. That is like saying because a few people are 3 feet high no counters should be higher than two feet. There is no sense in making even half of people unemployed so that 1% can remain employed.

Well Whatever your opinion is the fact is 42% of Americans have two chronic conditions .That is a large segment of USA population to disregard. My condolence and ❤️ to this young person friends and family.

In 2014, 60 percent of Americans had at least one chronic condition, and 42 percent had multiple chronic conditions. These proportions have held steady since 2008. Americans
with chronic conditions utilize more—and spend more on— health care services and may have reduced physical and
social functioning.

Chronic conditions are not the same as compromised immune systems. Nor are they the same as co morbidities . Mental or mood disorders, arthritis, substance abuse, etc are chronic conditions that might not be relevant to mortality from Covid-19. Or might be. It’s pretty much unknown at this point.
I suspect unemployment itself can lead to increased deaths. https://www.livescience.com/13578-unemployment-health-mortality.html#:~:text=The%20new%20study%20showed%20unemployment%20increases%20men%27s%20mortality,strong%20desire%20to%20be%20the%20family’s%20primary%20breadwinner.

“Trumps words and values represent many Americans”

That’s a really sad statement about America. Trump’s words are often idiotic if not simple outright lies. As for his values — he’s committed adultery on every one of his 3 wives, has sexually assaulted women and bragged about it, has cheated taxpayers out of hundreds of millions of dollars, bankrupted more than a few businesses through personal greed, defrauded hundreds of students from his Trump University and so much more. And that’s not even mentioning the racism, calling for his opponents to be jailed for no reason other than they oppose him, and in general provoking bitter divisions while in a leadership position that should be focused on bringing people together.

Fauci originally went along with the recommendation to not wear masks because the health community was afraid the public would buy up all the PPE before they could get it for the frontline workers. That was pretty obvious from the start to anyone who paid attention. If you want to fault the government for something it should be for not having a stockpile of PPE on hand for something like this pandemic. As for the rest of it, he was following the science from what we *knew*. We’ve learned a good bit since the start, particularly about aerosol transmission. Science is a process where our knowledge continually accrues.

Unlike Trump, whose knowledge starts at 0 and pretty much stays there. Unless it’s on a Tweet that somehow makes him look good.

They reverse their position on mask (and explained that the shortage of supply for health care workers was the reason they did not recommend masks for everyone) many months ago. You cant use that an an excuse for stupid behavior. They released information on aerosol transmission as the research developed. The failure of a coordinated national response is tRumps fault.

The whole story should be told. Make no mistake, the man has come unhinged

From the article;

https://www.washingtonpost.com/coronavirus/?itid=sf_coronavirus_subnav

As infections surge across the United States, the Trump administration’s pandemic response has been crippled by infighting, lethargy and the president’s mistrust of his top scientists, our politics desk reported in a story based on interviews with 41 White House aides, public health leaders and other insiders.

Doctors on the White House coronavirus task force have been sidelined by Scott Atlas: He’s a neuroradiologist with no background in infectious diseases, who has won Trump’s favor while asserting that the pandemic is nearly over, that social distancing and masks don’t work, and that vulnerable people should be sequestered in nursing homes while the coronavirus is allowed to spread naturally through the rest of the population.

Atlas’s fringe theories and his influence on Trump have so concerned other White House scientists that Deborah Birx, the coronavirus task force coordinator, recently lobbied to have him removed from the group. But Trump has turned hostile to his own disease experts. “People are tired of listening to Fauci and these idiots,” he told his campaign staff Monday, after task force member Anthony S. Fauci criticized the president’s failure to wear masks or avoid crowds.

The outbreak is tearing through middle America, forcing small cities and rural health authorities to beg their states for help. But our National desk reports that many Republican governors are refusing to impose mask orders or close high-risk businesses, and instead preach the mantra of “personal responsibility.”

Unfortunately, personal responsibility has been mostly shelved in this country in preference to blaming others. Especially Trump. Saves wear and tear on using brain cells by really looking up issues and not swallowing everything that someone wants to feed you. Either the liberal press, who uses it as a political club to beat Trump without once asking whether he had the authority to order whatever they tout or even if it s possible or even worse, harmful. Or the conservative reactionary press insistent on resisting the liberals’ bullying as a knee jerk reaction of refusing to do anything useful.

Between the erratic whiners and the paranoid complainers, the worst possible causes are chosen where public health orders react to every news story with inconsistent over reaction or under reaction. Which is by far the stupidest chose sure to make he danger and damage last as long as possible.

“I think that the Swedish way has been a lot better in the sense of [the] long term, that you can keep the economy going, which I’m very happy about. And also, kids have been to school, the society is still working, and the health care system quite OK. No, I’m happy with it.” https://www.pri.org/stories/2020-10-15/sweden-and-denmark-have-taken-two-very-different-approaches-covid-19-whats

I agree with you that personal responsibility is largely dead and gone in our culture. And I agree that Trump is largely the example of someone who has no personal responsibility at all — blaming nearly everyone else for anything that goes wrong around him. As far as I can tell he has never once stood up and accepted responsibility for something that went wrong. Despite 2 failed marriages and multiple failed businesses and of course, the current fiasco.

The Swedes on the other hand have a very different culture but their choices were not without problems either. They have a much higher per capita mortality rate due to COVID-19 than any of their neighbors and their economy really didn’t do any better than the neighbors who locked down. Partly because the Swedes on their own stayed home and away from businesses but also because of increased health care costs because of higher rates of spread.

Reply to  Cy Anse

Why should he when he is constantly blamed for things that are not true or relevant?

If you read the links you would have seen that ” In Sweden, the number of new infections of the coronavirus is now much lower than it is in surrounding countries.” And as for different cultures, Taiwan and New Zealand, offered constantly as examples of the success Trump denied the US, are way more different. The schizophrenia in the American left demands that Trump exercise authority he doesn’t even have while simulaneously complaining he is too authoritarian. Pleasing liberals is like herding cats- they won’t go where pointed and noisily complain the attempt then complain when they don’t like where they ran off to. They will go to mass protests then deny that they are creating the same or worse risks they lay at Trump’s door. It’s not that Trump is so good but that they are so much worse.

This disease will play out in the way it’s populace demands. Massive self righteousness will just make it worse.

And what would Biden or the dems do differently? they throw that out there yet have 0 to say when it comes to what they would do different? Nancy was down in China town telling everyone it was all ok a day after Trump announced we have a covid issue in the U.S .

Trump was very late to “ban” some “travel” from “China”, first of all.

Please note the timeline:

And please note further, regarding the not-so-ban:

Further still:

No Trump was earlier than his political opponents, who tried to make any useful action impossible lest- gasp- they miss an opportunity to accuse Trump of evil. There is no way that this government is run by solely Trump, even if his opponents were willing to let him succeed. The Democrats could have done many helpful things on their own initiative but clearly prefer to do nothing effective because they would rather Americans suffer if they can lay it at Trump’s door. Swamp is right.

Trump, Trump, Trump. Their little lives revolve around Trump as so many commenters do here.

Totally agree with Guest-
Trump’s decision to close all “open” travel from China in Feb (?)was a fantastic decision and way ahead of any demo’s flawed thought process. The biggest problem that still existed was the mass exodus of the dual citizenship Chinese who left Wuhan ASAP and our government flew them back for free. The Americans making the fast buck in China doing various good paying jobs also wanted off the sinking ship and again our government flew them home for free. No one knows how many private jets flew wealthy millionaires/business excapees from Wuhan/China into the US and again here were the potential supers carriers. These people went everywhere without restrictions and started the exposure pulse and pandemic. THIS IS WHERE THE INFECTION INFLOW CAME FROM. These Chinese were the super carriers and doing the spread all over the world.
Trump was proactive and did what was right. But he didn’t quaranteen those who came into the County.

My condolences to the friends and family

Is it being recorded how many people die in the county while infected with a non-covid flu?

My Dr. has been on my case for years to get the flu shot, as I choose not to. To paraphrase her … “If not for you, to protect someone else from your spreading it … as people do die from flu complications”

So even after covid, I know that I personally will wear a mask in public anytime I potentially feel a flu coming on. And will try not to go into public at all when having symptoms.

Choosing not get the flu shot is a personal choice but choosing to not spread it is a moral choice

600,000 die each year from cancer in the US. Another 600,000 from heart conditions.
70,000 from drug overdoses. 17,000 in homicides. 50,000 in suicides. 56,000 in pneumonia. 3 million a year die in the US each year.

Covid-19 will approximately increase the deaths in the US by about one tenth of a percent. The really odd thing about those who make so much of this figure without looking at other issues is that they somehow believe they can make those extra deaths disappear by doing things that are harmful in other ways. So if suicides, drug overdoses, heart conditions, etc increase because they persist in stressing everyone out with ineffective reactions, will they then see themselves as virtuous? Indeed, causing people to cease activities that put them at risk like driving to work or taking kids to school or on vacation or on the job accidents will do much of that all by itself but do they really see that as good? As long as society can go on by others talking the risks… Covid-19 is a fact of life. How much of other people’s lives are to be sacrificed when it can’t be fixed anyway? When is life to be resumed? If it has not been lost along the way.

It’s a belief system that not everyone fully understands.

Censorship is very easy to understand, and the question is why do citizens of a Constitutional Republic have to be subjected to the guidelines of a foreign entity?

The belief system has been weaponized against the individual in the name of group think.

These incremental steps toward totalitarian control is very similar to the way the Nazis did it in the 1930s.

Excuse me for pointing it out.

I understand what side of history free thinking, Constitutional minded humans need to be on.

The one year estimated death toll of 300,000 is reasonable and would account for 10% of a yearly death toll, not just one tenth of one percent.
A huge difference. Yuuge!

300,000 Covid 19 deaths will more closely account for the death of one tenth of one percent of THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF THE U.S.A.

10% OF ALL DEATHS IN THE U.S.A.

NOT 0.1% OF ALL DEATHS.

“Criminals love to throw it in your face.”

Like when Trump says he “loves the poorly educated.” Or his conversation w/ Lesley Stahl about why he bashes the press.

Trump is pointing to all of his supporters, saying to the rest of us “look at all these idiots…we both know I can get them to do whatever I want, try and stop me.”

His supporters do not understand that they are the mark, the butt of a big joke.

Meanwhile, the world watches to see how far he’ll push the white supremacist and militia types when the vote tallies go against him.

Damn, whats it gonna take to get deniers to wake up. Right now by our actions we are laying the groundwork for the future. We’re starting flu season with covid taking off everywhere and if people shove their fuggin egos and start doing all the precautions we MIGHT be able to keep from more and more lockdowns. If not we’re headed for an even more miserable experience.

Its a disease you idiots but its not the fuggin flu. It’s many times worse. And it will only go away if we force it to.

You confuse refusing to think that the public health orders as they have been engendered are a good thing with denying the virus exists. As if Covid-19 can be forced to disappear. The best that can be said is if a country can isolate itself successfully, it can spread the deaths over years instead of months. It will be waiting for a crack in that isolation to appear to start all over again. Maybe there will be a magic vaccination but the reality is that corona viruses mutate as freely as flu viruses do and vaccinations for flu have not eliminated the disease. Better treatments will likely be the best on offer for decades, just as it was for the flu decades ago.

It’s the mental disease of blind obedience that some people are struggling with.

The only solution is to recognize that we need real health education , and a massive tax on empty calories.

The root cause of disease is poor health choices.

There is tons and tons of data about cases of covid and deaths by covid but they are all biased in theory. I have yet to read any data on the negative affects of people sheltering in place. divorce rates? suicide rates? drug use? spousal abuse? job loss? complete and total decline in GDP? how many deaths do any of these topics represent?

researcher
Guest
researcher

I’ve seen a handful. If memory serves suicide and depression were high and drink and drugs and spousal abuse were up in the areas sampled. The world is too crazy right now and if we go back to lockdown its gonna make the first one look like a walk in the patch.

to everyone I been doing alot of thinking lately about how you change peoples minds for the better. I don’t like being told what to do. A rebel all my life. But this isn’t about me or my beliefs, or yours or how this thing got started or its a hoax or 3 million will be dead by tomorrow. Its a disease, it’s real, it’s everywhere, and the human brain should kick in and defend itself. Survival of the fittest, right. You see a fire you put it out.

That’s not happening. Enough anyway.

And whats ironic is that both definitions of disease cover what’s happening. Main one used is;

“a disorder of structure or function in a human, animal, or plant, especially one that produces specific signs or symptoms or that affects a specific location.”

and the other

“a particular quality, habit, or disposition regarded as adversely affecting a person or group of people.”

This baby is real, we don’t know where it’s going but right now it’s heading there fast and we need to slow it down. But a group of people have decided to do the opposite and thats where the second definition fits to a tee. I just realized that we’re actually fighting two diseases at the same time. A disease of the body and a disease of the mind.

SO FUCKIN WEAR THE DAMN MASK! And the rest.

It will all come out, if not here then in the foreign news.

“More trouble for Joe Biden as Ukrainian lawmaker claims second laptop belonging to Hunter’s business contacts in the country has been seized by law enforcement”

Also, One of the Biden crew has flipped…he’s tired of taking the fall for the others.

Biden Atty. asked for computer BACK, you don’t ask for something BACK unless it was yours to begin with. They have the Attys follow up paperwork.

And it’s a good thing Face book and Twitter has finally confirmed who they are and what they do, now no one should doubt that 1984 has arrived.

[ quote]

When does a fetus have a heartbeat?

Before about week 8 of pregnancy, a doctor may refer to the fetus as an embryo.

The heart of an embryo starts to beat from around 5–6 weeks of pregnancy. Also, it may be possible to see the first visible sign of the embryo, known as the fetal pole, at this stage.

The heart of a fetus is fully developed by the 10th week of pregnancy.

https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/when-does-a-fetus-have-a-heartbeat#timeline

[ end quote ]

It seems to me if you find a bird in the field, or any critter if you can feel or hear, or see, a heartbeat you assume it’s alive, or at least I do.

I believe life starts before that, but that would at least be a compromise of belief of if a embryo / fetus is alive..

Grandparents all over the world jump for joy when their daughter says shes pregnant, and it’s not cause she’s going to have a blob of cells.

White women have 12 abortions per 1000 reproductive-age women, compared with 29 per 1000 for Hispanic women, and 40 per 1000 for non-Hispanic Black women.

Judging from the numbers, looks as though M. Sangers original intent is still alive.

Let’s see…you can keep your physican… really Obama and Biden…oh we need ventilators alot of them…Coumo….hmmm and did it ever occur that …it seems that no one can be grateful enough for what the current president has done…enough is enough..can’t we all get along???

Now we see how the coronavirus has made us see each other as diseased no matter if we wear mask or not. Let’s see…that’s right genetics play a fact and blood types and comorbidities…I don’t ever remembering Trump saying…hey..send a coronavirus to us so I can win the election..people common sense .. Be grateful in the fact your still alive to post your thoughts here.

Last thought..life to too short to keep complaining and bitching.

What good is a physician if they are controlled and threatened with there License removal unless they tow the party line?
Doctors don’t mean much to me, But true healers are a gift that can’t be replaced.
You can go to dozens of doctors before you find a healer a person with a gift, with or without a degree.
Uhm, or, no you can’t under Obama care gotta pick one local doctor in your area.

Maybe Biden doesn’t have dementia, maybe he’s having a nervous breakdown as all his lies are exposed.
Biden seems quite lucid at times…or maybe the lucid moments are a bit of coke courtesy of the CCP.
That might explain his constant angry outbursts too.

Quote from Glenn Greenwald:

Greenwald also accused the media of “allowing the CIA … to be manipulating our politics by taking cover for the Biden campaign by claiming anonymously that the Russians are behind the story … even if the Russians were behind the story, why does that alleviate the responsibility of journalists to evaluate the emails and examine whether or not Joe Biden engaged in misconduct?”

Instead, Greenwald claimed, journalists have banded together with a common goal to “defend Joe Biden … working with the FBI, CIA, and the NSA not to manipulate our adversaries or foreign governments, but to manipulate the American people for their own ends.

End Quote.

So if you go get a flu shot and a shingles shot and a Pneumonia shot and then a covid shot, and who knows how many other shots who has studied how all things shots affect your body mixed up together? Add a bit of aspartame and a few GMO’s, some fluoride,
well you get my point.

When Fauci told the people a mask won’t work in order to save the masks for heath workers he lied to the people or he lied when he said they will work, which one is it?

The fact is China was buying up the supply in the US that the people could have bought up instead if they had been told the truth.

Now we have Biden in the witness protection program in his basement till Thursday so he doesn’t have to answer questions about his son being a bagman in order to enrich Biden with CCP contracts. ( the Hillary playbook hide and destroy evidence)

China, a country that is threatening to cut Americans off from the products that we use to make most of our current medications for cancer, heart attacks, antibiotics etc..

If twitter and facebook will censor the Biden story what won’t they censor? Medical info. maybe?

People are so myopic, TDS is really all they care about.

Heh heh…that Hunter Biden story is so full of holes even Fox News won’t run it! Guliani is being fed Russian disinformation to sway the election for Putin’s sweetheart. History will bear this out. Now Trump is talking about fleeing the country if he loses. Better than going back to NY to face the music.

Here’s one of your smart legal Harvard experts at CNN.

Quotes:

“Toobin his own horn:
Writer reportedly masturbated during New Yorker Zoom call

“I believed I was not visible on Zoom. I thought no one on the Zoom call could see me. I thought I had muted the Zoom video.

“I apologize to my wife, family, friends and co-workers.”

A spokeswoman for the New Yorker said, “Jeffrey Toobin has been suspended while we investigate the matter.”

CNN added in a statement that Toobin, a Harvard Law School grad, would be taking time off from the cable network, as well.

“Jeff Toobin has asked for some time off while he deals with a personal issue, which we have granted,” CNN said in a statement.

[End of quotes]

Seems like there’s plenty of masturbating going on when it comes to telling the truth. Hope it’s not to late when the left wakes up.

Well you Deny the changes but Joe and Hunter haven’t. There attys haven’t.
And the one partner in jail says it’s true.
The head of DNI says it’s true.
Seems like they would be suing if it wasn’t true…eh?
Or maybe they just don’t want the disclosure a lawsuit would bring.

Oh well Nancy and the Dems wants Kamala to be pres anyway so they don’t care if Biden goes down. Recall the play for that 25th amendment.
