Clothes for fire victimsInformation from a group gathering clothes for fire victims:

Hello Humboldt County. Us crazy women are at it again. 😁

WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP FOR THE FIRE VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES!!!

We need MORE donations. This time only very specific things. Please, please read the full post, especially the last paragraph.

Here’s what’s being asked for and needed by fire victims (that we almost have none of):

***Boys 10-12 and 14-16 jeans.

***Young Boys and toddler boys (3T and up) shirts in all sizes.

***Toddler girls 3T and up, shirts, pants and leggings.

***Men’s jeans from 28 to 38, all lengths. Please, this one is definitely important.

***Men’s sweats, small, medium, large, XL and XXL.

***Hoodie and pullover sweatshirts, all sizes. These can also be flannel shirts with hoodies.

***Women’s XL shirts and 3-4x tops and up.

***All sizes of pullover sweatshirts, all ages***

***All sizes of sweatpants, all ages***

***Practical shoes in all sizes and in great shape, men’s and women’s (sneakers, boots, flip flops, sandals).

***Baby clothes 0-6 months, gender neutral.

***Baby socks.

***Nursing bras and tops LG-2XL.

***Towels, sleeping bags, warm blankets.

****Plastic totes with lids. These are a very functional thing for evacuees to use. Many fire victims are camping out so if we can pack clothes into totes it’s easier to them. ****

If you know anyone in the Northern California, Humboldt County area who can help with this list please let them know.

We’ve had to spend almost $200.00 in fees to take a lot of unusable clothing to the dump. While we appreciate your response to our request for donations we’re asking for you to respect what we’re doing for the fire victims and their families. Please leave your donations in front of the garage. There is no need to knock and let us know you’ve left things but you can put in a cheery note to say hi to us-😊. We will be checking for stuff regularly throughout the day….The pictures are what my garage looked like before everything was sorted into boxes and sizes. 👍
