Two-Basin Partnership Initial Study Report Meeting on Future of Potter Valley Project
The members of the Two-Basin Partnership will hold a meeting with interested parties and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission staff to answer questions about the results and status of studies underway to inform the future operations and management of the Potter Valley Project, and to answer questions about proposed new or modified studies. Members of the public are welcome to attend and ask questions.

I agree. The massive diversion of water from basin to basin in CA is nuts. Let the rivers flow.
no more diversion, Sonoma is way over planted.
But but without moving water from where it is supposed to be to where it isn’t , our agenda against growers wouldn’t work as well……
Comments such as those above are the exact reason why everyone should attend this meeting. Tearing down the dam does not mean the water will be free to flow its natural course. Behind the scenes, an agreement has been in the works that will still divert a significant amount of water from the Eel to Sonoma County. Taking down the dam does not mean Humboldt keeps all the water. This may or may not be obvious to most people, I just felt the need to reiterate that fact.
