After One Driver Failed to Stop at a Sign, Resulting Crash Took Out Fence

Just after 6 yesterday evening, after one driver failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of 17th Streets and West Avenue, one vehicle spun through a fence and into a yard. Both vehicles were badly damaged.

Eureka Police spokesperson, Brittany Powell told us this was a minor injury crash.

Powell said that DUI is not suspected.

Wow, I know who USED to own that house, “recently” sold! That fence was added since purchase. My goodness. What a drag.
