Southern Humboldt Unified School Board Meeting Postponed Because of Wildfires Will Be This Thursday

On September 10, 2020, due to the local wildfires, The Southern Humboldt USD Superintendent and Board of Trustees Secretary, Stephanie Steffano-Davis, adjourned the September 10, 2020 Regular Board Meeting. The meeting was adjourned to September 24, 2020. The agenda and meeting times will remain the same as posted.

To clarify for the general public; this means that the meeting, that was scheduled to take place on September 10, 2020 with closed session at 4:00 pm and open session beginning at 4:30 pm, was postponed and will recommence September 24, 2020 with the same times, same agenda that was posted September 7,2020, and the same “location” via zoom.

Public Comments can be made directly in the zoom meeting or by submitting your comment in writing to the board prior to the session you are wishing to comment on.

Public Comments can be sent to [email protected]. Please put “Public Comment” in the subject line. If you are commenting on an agenized item, please use the agenda item number and title in the subject line also. Correspondences sent to this address will be read aloud to the public.

If your public comment is not received prior to the start of the meeting it will be presented to the board at the next regular board meeting under Correspondence, so that the board may address any comments or questions at that time.

All other correspondences may be sent directly to the board or to [email protected] and will be attached to the agenda at next regular board meeting following when it is received.

Comments made on the Facebook live stream will not be read or addressed by Board members during the meeting.
