Thank you for the photo Mary Ann, It gives you a good idea of how far the slide goes down. Hope the new road will stand up during the winter, if we have one.

Of course Supervisor Fennell should be there , she and public works made it happened! I want to thank them for doggedly sticking with it. This was a monumental fix that took Federal funding and it finally is being completed, and thanks for all the other work on that road too. The guy at the RID office (Justin?) was always helpful in giving updates on the progress of this road project too.

Alderpoint road has been down for three years. Guess there’s no federal land out there. Just folks trying to make a living.

So they’re closing the road in order to open the road?

Whoever planned that needs to lose their job.

Let's get this show off the road.

Take a ride down Telegraph Creek Road and see the devastation lack of culvert maintenance can cause. It is a disaster.

Failed culverts probably played a major role in this road washout as well.
That is what made it happen.

They should just open the road without the fanfare in case there is an emergency.

It’s been closed long enough, and it’s the wrong time for a gathering.
