[UPDATE 9:35 p.m.] Ambulance and Law Enforcement Responding to a Gunshot Victim in Southern Humboldt
About 8:55 p.m., law enforcement and an ambulance are responding to 11,400 block of Dyerville Loop Road near Kinnebrew Lane for a victim with a gunshot wound, according to a dispatcher giving information to emergency personnel.
The ambulance is responding to the incident but is asked to stage out of the area until law enforcement can make sure the incident scene is safe.
Please remember that information gathered from initial reports is subject to revision as more facts become available.
UPDATE 9:17 p.m.: Deputies are on the scene and one person is detained and medical personnel are asked to now leave the staging area and come to the scene.
UPDATE 9:35 p.m.: The ambulance is taking the victim to the hospital.

What in the heck is going on lately? Is it just me or does anybody else think the last few days/weeks been nuts, with people shooting each other, stabbing each other, taking people hostage? We had the guy a couple of weeks ago in McKinleyville shooting at the neighbor lady and barricading himself in his house, the guy the other night taking his gf hostage, the guy last night stabbing someone the barricading himself…either the Rona got people going crazy or there is a bad batch of drugs going around.
Don’t worry. Everything will settle down as the harvest season begins.

This is what happens when cancer takes over the body. It starts as a tumor or a few somewhere, spreads slowly, and before you know it, the cancer is taking over the whole body and it begins systematically shutting down, till the whole body dies. Sometimes the symptoms are hard to identify. Sometimes the symptoms have been going on for a long time, and people chose to ignore it. rather than go get chemo. I believe in this instance, a very hard course in chemo, will be the only thing that will save this body from passing into a history of foreseen, but ignored deaths.

Citizens were told to be “vigilant” in the phillipsville area due to suspicious fires, I say that goes for every second of everyday of your life from now on the way things are right now .
