I’ll bet he’s having a great time right now, knowing that whoever he may encounter is probably locked and loaded.

I know that local geography pretty well from way back. He is way out of his comfort zone! He stands a good chance of getting turned around and lost in those hills. If he tries to go up and over Brush or Black Oak Mountain he has much difficulty negotiating the empty (of people) Eel River canyon. If he stays on the east side he will encounter armed people who will shoot him quicker than he can draw. The word is out all over the area. He may never be heard from again…because his body won’t be found. And that’s okay…If he thinks he can bully or thug his way out of that neighborhood he will lose all.

Sheriff Facebook page just did a detailed update. 6 suspects arrested, all black male adults. Charges ranging from armed robbery in concert, criminal threats, child endangerment to armed in commission. One suspect outstanding, black male 20 or 30s short with thin build. The 73 y/o man was cited and released for armed robbery in concert and criminal threats because
of…….wait……a “pre-existing medical condition”. Guess that condition wasn’t so bad it kept him from driving all the way from the bay to assault, rob and threaten six individuals including a 6 year old child

So sorry to hear he was released – for any reason whatsoever. I know it’s “innocent until proven guilty” but in cases like this I sure don’t care if a guy like this gets covid in jail. Call me heartless, call me mean but…that releasing of an armed robber is just not right! I do think our justice system is crumbling…and the crooks know it.

I totally agree…if he committed the crime then too bad about the illness…it didn’t stop him from being a lowlife that threatens a child….now he knows he can use that same excuse again…and I say again, because this wasn’t his first or last time, I’m betting. I pray his punishment comes quickly right where he lives,,, in any form.
