This ‘Sweet, Gentle, and Affectionate’ Guy Needs a Good Home

This information is provided by Petharbor.com. If you know someone who can help get this animal into a forever home, please pass this along to them.

My name is BEAR. I am a neutered male, black and white Border Collie mix. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 26, 2020.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: BEAR

Bear is a compact small-medium sized fellow with a cute, slightly-snubbed face and small foldover ears. He is a little bit shy to start out, but his enjoyment of treats helps to put him at ease. He’s a bit independent and an ardent sniffer, and walks quite nicely on the leash. He’s a basic, no-drama guy! He’s not at all reactive when other dogs approach- in fact, he’d like to meet them! He doesn’t seem to have much training but is sweet, gentle, and affectionate. He is coming out of his shell nicely and is a fairly low-key guy- he’d make a great companion! Bear would do best in a home without cats. He currently weighs in at 45lbs.
