No probably a dispute and enough people to back someone’s story of self defense. And apparently no one died. So it maybe justified. Idk but plauseable..

How would self defense be plausible if the guy was shot in the back? I’m just trying to find an example and I cant. Not in california especially.

Actually, Richard, the mile marker numbers don’t exactly jive with addresses. For example, the Dinsmore Store is at 43819 Hwy 36, which is MM 41.5.

Good guess, though.

Every crime post is a gun related incident. Is the is the ‘right to keep and bare arms’ our founders were thinking about? Or is this a totally different world now? Is it worth it ?

The concept of a citizen’s militia providing for the security of a republic was outdated in the Napoleonic era.

Tell that to Al Qaeda. to ISIS, Syria…all those started because citizens Militias fighting the government, leading to civil wars and fractured countries. Those are just a few recent ones I can think of and thats hell of a lot later then Napoleonic era. If you are going to come of all logic and all knowing, make sure your shit is correct. This will happen here if we keep getting lazy ignorant citizens that only blindly listen to one side(ya know like how fanaticism is created) and not looking at a subject from an unemotional, unprebiased, neutral position. Make no mistake ive seen first hand the path this country is headed. The end result is 100s of thousands of innocents civilians, holding their loved ones in pools of blood, only angry, heartbroken as whole families are torn apart, because people want to blindly fanatically cling to their cause.

Do not act like this doesnt happen, do not act like no one didn’t see it coming and warned you. They only way from stopping this at this point, is to stop being fucking ignorant, because its going to get us all killed. As a veteran its sickening…..every fucking day……wonder why I have major anxiety order and major depressive dissorder….yay meds!!!!!…….

The Japanese after bombing pearl harbor did not step foot on our soil. After the war when asked why not, the response was because of the fact most Americans were armed. I think the same applies 80 years later and probably will for as long as the second amendment stays.

So, yes, our forefathers knew we would be invaded which occurred during the war of 1812. They also knew it would be worth it even to this day. Not bad for a bunch of tax evading looters and rioters.

The surprise attack at Pearl Harbor was calculated as a chance to disable the US Pacific Fleet so that the Japanese Navy could invade Southeast Asia and operate in the South Pacific unchallenged. In fact, the generals advocating for the attack believed it would destroy the morale of Americans and persuade them to stay out of Asia. Clearly it had nothing do with a bunch of rednecks with guns and any other made up fantasies you read on Facebook.

Yes and no. Say our country becomes invaded. Malitia are also for safety of local ordinance.
Possible to protect yourself from a possible government coo where Trump and Putin mash together and let’s the us find out our secrets allowing Russia to come in and try and take over. And our malitia can do a job and protect their local areas.
Dang Ruskies. Jk jk but government conspiracy theories aside and possible good future movie plots. I believe there are still a legit reasons for us to bear arms. But I will agree that 2nd amendment and views of malitias has become a eschewed and misinterpreted from what it once was.

You think a bunch of untrained Hill people are going to hold off, the US military if it decided to go against its own people?? Get fucking real. Weve been training and operating in just those types of situations for what 30 years now? There is no way at all if our government turned on its own people. to the point where militias are needed? its already over, the military would crush that so quick. Trust me thats what they want to happen so a bunch of ignorant hill people can play out there gi joe fantasies, giving the green light for the military to crush us hard.

Also these militias that we supposedly are supposed to rely on? A bunch of mostly untrained, undisciplined, no leadership larp clubs. The second shit goes down, youll see how 1 bad leadership here in the US is now, and 2 how quickly it goes to shit and chaos when you have a leaderless militia. Then what will happen is we have a bunch of armed militias running around no leadership, starting there own territories, own forms of judicial system, ect ect..so where this is going? The whole militia protecting us against our own government is a larp fantasies that wouldn’t work in this time. We need people to quit being fucking lazy, go go educated and informed, and vote the right type of leaders that promote balance and logic over money and underlying causes.

You’d have an armed commune then?! Still yes untrained compaired to some who gets paid to go to war and protect our country and assets….
But it only takes training and yes when shit hits the fan most people will do the flight instead of fight. But also with our terrain. And the fact that yeah most growers have guns. Usually enough to supply a small commune. that someone like ….. lets say you. You could train others be be where you believe your at…. since you’ve gone through the training being a marine and all….. you have a better understanding than most.
So why could our topography and our demographic be unable to do defend itself. Between hunters, growers, active military, vets, and the fact we gave a fuck ton of 2nd amendment right activists and anyone who has a hobby with guns.
I know of 15 people with cannons.. again why would it be impossible if the Gov could train you…. Why couldn’t you train others to do the same?
