Zero new deaths. Zero new hospitalizations.

Oh look, we have both a new death and a new hospitalization today. What are you going to do now?

Could be. Or maybe you’re just imagining things.

Based on the reliability of your “research”, the smart money is on option two.

Do I also use multiple handles? Am I a “paid disruptor”?

I’m quite sure Stars is a one name commentor, though we disagree often, I do appreciate the one name usage.

An Ohio State University cardiologist found that between 10 and 13 percent of university athletes who had recovered from COVID-19 had myocarditis. When the Big Ten athletic conference announced the cancellation of its season last month, Commissioner Kevin Warren cited the risk of heart failure in athletes. Researchers have estimated that up to 20 percent of people who get the coronavirus sustain heart damage.

Stars, I think you forget that we still have much to learn about Covid 19. It’s not all peachy…

That was yesterday, I think STARS is talking about today. Just a hunch.

That is correct, but maybe we should consider the entire “second wave” in Humboldt. 1 death and approximately 8 hospitalizations (depending on when you want to call the start). Is the curve flattened yet? Are the hospitals overwhelmed? Anything in those freezer trucks?

Aren’t the Emperor’s new clothes beautiful?

My son hung out with a girl from So Hum. Now he’s sick. I got a splitting headache this morning. Soonest covid test we could schedule is next Wednesday…

Did that mean little SoHum girl force herself on your innocent little sweetie? You and your kid are responsible for the actions of you and your kid.

Hope you are all well, but accept personal responsibility.

Yep, he/she was. They have the same line just about every time there is a new report of cases and it sounds to me that it is an attempt to minimize the situation so I thought I would point out that three cases had gotten sick enough to be hospitalized yesterday.

Our local numbers are pretty small, kind of minimal. So I would have to agree with the stars

Thanks Jay.

I agree, it’s obviously an attempt to minimize and downplay.

I hope the situation stays as relatively mild as it is locally, that would be great. Stars will feel vindicated anyhow, but that’s fine. No one should want sickness on anyone, anyway.

Consider for yourself the relative seriousness of deaths, hospitalizations, and cases.

Perhaps that will give you some insight into the point. Perhaps not.

Think your own thoughts. Decide for yourself if deaths and hospitalizations are important to note. Maybe you will decide that number of cases is the only significant statistic. Maybe not.

Great party out there in Southern Humboldt. That has spurred many cases this week. Over 60-70 people at a house party? Really? Nice job, idiots.

“I can’t get enough of the Ocho!”

Come on, bitches…It’s time to start doubling down. 16, 32, 64… Let’s really get the daily case-load to an impressive number! We need MORE!

Teenagers and twenty-somethings, we’re relying on you and your moronic behavior to spike these numbers…So please, be yourself, be an idiot and PARTY IT UP! WOO HOO!

Every generation gives the middle finger to ones who think they know best.

How many useful idiots are needed to fight the endless wars, military or in the board rooms, that hold profit over life.

The only thing old folks can do is contribute to amassing power and wealth, so they can buy influence…

It’s a jungle out there.

Shouldn’t we see those numbers regardless or is it not very contagious? Or was it here in November? Just a thought, our lack of cases on week 5 of FUHS is very telling.

@ Kym

I don’t see this article on your homepage screen in the Covid section.

Maybe it’s missing a tag or something?
