Death Investigation in the Harris Area

According to Samantha Karges, spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Department,
Sheriff’s deputies are conducting a death investigation in the Harris area of Southern Humboldt County. We are unable to confirm the victim’s identification at this time. Deputies are still on scene investigating…
The initial call was reported as a decedent with a possible gunshot injury. However, I am unable to confirm that is the case at this time, as deputies are still on scene doing their preliminary investigation.
An unconfirmed report from a good source indicates the deceased was involved in an attempt to steal from a legal cannabis farm.

By the way, as I’ve said before I think that the second amendment read literally includes thermonuclear weapons since it does not simply reference firearms or personal firearms. The battles of Lexington and Concord were to protect the colonist’s possession of cannons, the most advanced artillery of their day. I have read that the founders were referencing that right of the citizens to possess canons as well as firearms.

If someone wants a gun, of any kind, they can have it. If they do not, they do not have to have it. For less than $1500, you can posses all the machine tools you need to make AR15’s all day. You can go to a junkyard and get all the steel and other metals you need to make them with. They are called ghost guns. Then, you can “de register” your legally bought guns, no matter what kind, and the govt does not know where they are. Some say there are more unregistered guns than registered, again, the govt does not know where they are, or who has them. Ammo is easily reloaded or made at home. Like Mr. Burns said, the firepower and accurate properties of the .30 cals is true. The sniper in our revolutionary war were very effective at taking out the evil British officers, and shortening the war. It is interesting to note the newspaper that doxxed the addresses of gun owners in New York, and putting their addresses in their paper, those who did not have guns, were the ones robbed. Funny I am a United States Marine former special operations unit. And some education on the assault weapon that you say is so much more dangerous. Number one. It was designed in the military specs with a 3 round burst. The civilian models of an AR 15 do not have, it is only a semi automatic. With a 5.56 round. This round was designed to not kill it was designed to injure someone with the thought process if you kill a man it takes one off the battlefield if you injure him it takes 3 off the battle field to help him. That being said a 30 caliber round for hunting in a 30-06 a 300 win mag like say a browning AR3 with is a bolt action hunting rifle is a 100 more times deadly and accurate and you can kill a person from up to 900 yards while wearing a ghilli suit and never be seen or even heard. So its only a myth that assault weapons are so dangerous. So you really need to learn about what kills and how because I wouldn’t even own an AR15 its a target practice toy realistically.

There’s a reason modern sport rifles like the AR15 are the most popular guns sold today. Personally, I prefer a bigger caliber and bolt action, but the AR15 is a really flexible platform that allows setups that fit the user. It is easy to use in the bush and is a good rifle. Since you’re a gun owner I’m sure you know that the scary black rifle is less effective as a weapon than many less scary rifles out there. The political attack on the AR15 is a farce with no basis in reality with regards to use and threat.

Do you honestly know a lot of people who use it as a “sport” rifle “in the bush”? Like I said, I have never seen one “in the bush”, at least here in Oregon. And I am talking about from the wooded coast to the high desert in the east. We hunt “in the bush”….all over the state. (Actually I think at this point, for my husband, it’s the 10 days at camp that appeals to him more. We still hike miles a day, but it’s the campfire at night he likes the most.)
The only people I know who own one are gun humpers and even they don’t use them for hunting.

We hunt big elk and deer. My husband has a beautiful H & H (Remington) .300 mag. he uses for elk. It’s virtually an antique now. And it is a beautiful gun. Yeah, I am a snob. 🙂
.223 is a little too small for big game. I think it’s legal to hunt with in Oregon, but other places it is not.
But, you know, most guns are used for target practice not hunting.

The things Wade did were wrong, even the ones who loved him got angry he lived this life, taking from others. He is gone now and won’t be taking from anyone ever again.
