At approximately 8:57 p.m., a dispatcher sent firefighters to a small grass fire at the Sandpointe development at the west end of Murray Road in the McKinleyville area. The Incident Commander reported that the fire was near structures but moving at a slow rate of speed.

By 9:14 p.m., the additional resources were cancelled.
