🕯🌳Thank you Kym for keeping us updated. 🖖🇺🇸
Not very contagious, infected numbers should be doubling every week.
It’s because we are actually doing a reasonably good job masking and staying distanced 👍 As we loosen up on that it will change – as it is currently – going up.
If thats what you think..
Masks dont stop viruses..
They do, however, show COMPLIANCE.
Masks are for the Lone Ranger!!!
Kym, on the charts one says “Hispanic/Latino ” and the next says “Not Hispanic/Latino “. I’m not quite sure what that means. Could you explain it?
I’m curious about that, also…

Thank you. That helps.
You’re welcome. I didn’t know either.
Did that help? I’m thoroughly confused.
Did that help? I’m thoroughly confused. Nevermind ty kym
This is what I was told when I asked the same question: “Not Hispanic or Latino. Hispanics may report as any race. This information is self-reported, so approximately 60 percent of people provided information about ethnicity. The remainder is unknown and not represented in the graph. Data on race distribution is also self-reported. The following definition is from the “What these numbers mean” document “These categories overlap (i.e. an individual may report being of Caucasian race and Latino ethnicity) and will not total 100 percent. Race and ethnicity data is not available for all individuals tested.”
But, I will say that I think there may be some confusion in the people answering. When I filled out the online appointment information for a test, they asked my ethnicity. I can’t remember now the three choices but the first two were something I definitely am not and the third was Not Hispanic or Latino. I almost checked that before realizing that not answering was an option. I suspect at least a few folks who don’t fit that category chose it for that reason.
What do you mean they checked it wrong! The government spent millions of dollars trying to word those options correctly.
Quite the drop off on testing, considering Optum is no longer taking reservations. We had over 150 fewer tests today than yesterday. So, four positives with a lot less testing is not a good sign.
The county is out of tests. I was told by the county health representative that answered the phone that I should drive from SoHum to Cresent City CVS to get tested.
