Sad..
Blue-Green algae?
@kym , eel river, Trinity county?
Map of the Eel River—which includes the North Fork, the South Fork, the Middle Fork, and the Main stem. I’m pretty sure the press release was referencing the main stem where it nips across the corner of Trinity County but it could have been anything but the South Fork.
It covers a lot of area.
the entire north fork originates in trinity co. And some of the main stem flows thru around island mt
Let’s see, “hispanic” dude drowns, difficult if not impossible remote (gated) overland access, too low to get there by raft this time of year, , weed grows everywhere, witnesses split the scene… I think I have the picture now…
SO what is the “picture” instead of a tragic death? I guess you really don’t believe that “All Lives Matter?”
No matter who he is or what he was doing, it is sad that he paid with his life. RIP
Well for starters, if a guy from the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, France, or the fucking South Pole drowned in the exact same spot, What would the press release say? Now, what really fucking matters, is the state of mind that people (you, for example) take for granted, what I think matters.
