Glad to see the upgrades are being done. I hope Kernen does good work this time. They screwed up my driveway badly and when I asked them to fix it, the owner got very angry and offered to “take it out.” He at first refused to try to fix it. I insisted it get repaired, so he finally agreed. They did a marginal job fixing it, but it was slightly better than before they did the job so I let it go. I still would never have them anywhere near my property again.

That being said, they did do an acceptable job on the road leading to my driveway. Hopefully Arcata gets a better job than I did.

How about some upgrades further down the road, such as widening, installing bike lines, installing sidewalks, and now that there’s no slow-moving traffic on the road, getting rid of the speed humps and raising the speed limit back to 35?
