Air Ambulance Responded to Major Injury Crash on Hwy 299 This Weekend

Press release from the California Highway Patrol:

On May [24], 2020 at approximately 1:20 PM, a sergeant with the California Highway Patrol came upon a solo motorcycle crash on SR-299 east of Forest Service Road 4 in western Trinity County. The sergeant notified CHP dispatch and requested an air ambulance to the scene. CHP officers from the Trinity River Area also responded.

It was determined that Anderson was riding his Harley motorcycle westbound on SR-299 at an unknown speed. For unknown reasons, Anderson allowed his Harley to leave the north roadway edge where it collided with a rock embankment. Anderson was transported by CHP Northern Division Helicopter H-14 to Mercy medical center in Redding for treatment of his injuries sustained in the crash.

I know that was a real bad accident, but does anyone know how he is doing. I ride and I am always concerned when a fellow biker has an accident. Thank God he was not killed.
