Humboldt County Library Hosting ‘Zoom Cyber-Safety Workshop’ on May 30th

Now that many people are spending more time on computers and devices for work, school, and staying connected with friends and family, it is especially important to know how to stay safe and secure online. With that in mind, the Humboldt County Library is excited to announce their latest e-program, the Zoom Cyber-Safety Workshop, to be held on Saturday, May 30.
Thomas Lukins, from the County of Humboldt Information Technology department, will teach attendees tips and tricks on how to protect their information, how to browse safely, and ways to ensure that they stay protected as they connect online.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 30, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m..
The sign-up sheet can be found at https://forms.gle/xDbuHPrN8eiJ8BrN9, or on the Library’s website. Once you sign up, the Library will email you the Zoom meeting information, including a link to the event and the password.
