People want and need simple information. Like where the cases popped up in trinity and when exactly.

For instance, if you were in the Trinity emergency room on the night of May 1st, and someone was admitted to overnight care with trouble breathing.

While not trying to be nosy, the waiting room is about 5′ x 10′ and you couldn’t help but overhear the conversation.

So, being that on May 8th the first case in Trinity was reported, you know that your visit to the ER may have been close to the case.

And knowing Trinity, you’re unclear if they will travel you down and warn you of the risk.

For one real experience example.

* and you are talking to 2 different Brian’s, fyi. I stick to TRB.

Grandpa always said “Where there is one there is two, where there’s two there is twenty”. However, he was talking about spiders.

Great. Can’t wait for the live-streamed press conference.

Just tried using the phone number for scheduling an appointment for getting tested at Redwood Acres. Phone method didn’t work. Then tried using online. What a pain in the tush. After inputing personal information to register, got directed to another page asking more personal information, some the same, some new. On and on it goes. Another pain in the tush.

Guess I’ll do what others are doing, and just wait it out, and forget the testing. Maybe I’ll ask my proctologist or my oncologist if they think I need testing, and let them arrange it for me.

This is getting old.

The website is a pain, but if you just answer the questions you’ll get thru it and get a patient id# and an appointment..

I did tune in to the video. It was boring. Instructions on how to wash your hands, not touch your face; the usual, but nothing new. It started late.

We need a public testing site in Sohum. Probably one in Willow Creek too.
No big questionaire either, just your name and an address to send results. Why do they make it any kind of hard?

My husband and I signed up over the phone last Thursday. It took about a half hour for both of us to sign up. Name, address, date of birth, email and/or phone number, medicare number or insurance if you have it, otherwise free. They gave us ID numbers. They verified contact info — called us (and emailed us) with our ID numbers. Easy peasy. And thorough. Pleasant and professional. We went in at 7:30 this morning for the nasal swab. They asked if we had any symptoms. No. That took about 5 minutes. Simple. Streamlined! We’ll get results via email on Thursday or Friday. We expect to be negative; but if positive, they’ll be able to do contact tracing while we continue staying at home.

The state is doing a good thing here, doing enough testing to begin to get a reliable positive to negative baseline infection number in different categories of age and gender and will probably find some positives they can follow up on as more people get tested. Testing and contact tracing are key to safely limiting the virus Ro (R-naught) to less than one.

If each positive person infects less than one other person, the potential “hotspot” cools off and the infected will not exceed our (meager) Humboldt County medical resources. The outbreak will eventually die out.

Take care of your children and grandchildren!

The RTPCR is the test they use and the creator of the test is Dr. Kary Mullis and he clearly stated to the public that his test was not meant to be used for Infectious Diseases. The test is for genetic material and inflammation. So one could assess they are logging DNA and storing it and doing trace and track which we already know they are doing. In Humboldt you have a .003 chance of getting it and in Trinity it does not even register on a scale the cases are so low. Also all hospitals are receiving 13 to 17,000 per Covid 19 patient and around 39,000 per patient on ventilators. If you die they will list you as Covid 19 death no matter what you die of and this has been proven numerous times. The only people who have actually died of Covid 19 are people with pre existing illnesses and they usually have high melatonin which means dark skin. These are facts from the vital statistics of America and John Hopkins. They tested a sheep, a papaya, a cat and a dog and they all tested positive using this test. You can google to see the test results and what the medical students used i.e. animals and test kits. I am sure Kym will say this is a Conspiracy Theory because truth now days have become a Conspiracy Theory so all of what i said is very researchable and supported by FACTS.

Kym, The statement “Comments from people who don’t even put their real name down are not very trustworthy” is not really a fair comment to make, especially from the moderator of comments. People are getting cabin fever all over the place. It’s something many people who live in our area know all about. People are starting to lose it, and are acting out in ways they perhaps would never otherwise do. It has become worse than even before Covid 19 showed up.

Calling out people who don’t use their true names; just don’t agree with that, but I do agree links are useful. Mary’s comment above seems part true/part false (the links, not her), still useful to read.

I make comments all the time here, as you know. My intent is never to deceive, but to inform, motivate readers, or express my view, and I thank you for that opportunity.

But if your comment is what you truly believe,

OK

OK, got it Kym. You’re allowed to get frustrated too. I just thought your comment suggested the commenter was untrustworthy, due to her comment, and lack of true name. After re-reading your comment several times I believe it means her comment may be untrustworthy, not her.

I truly believe most of the comments made here are by people who believe what they say. Obviously there are people out there who just want to stir the pot (trolls). Mary doesn’t sound like one of them. She may be mis-informed, but some of the information she wrote I have also read from other sources (not Fox News).

Not sure what to make of lasers starting fires: thought it was power lines. Michelle Obama is too cute to have ever been a man (yes I know that’s chauvinistic, sexist, but it’s not misogynistic). I have read that numerous children have died from Bill Gate’s vaccines, but it was in India. Never having been there I really don’t know. I do know the world is round; I’ve sailed around it three times, although the first two had to be finished by flight for the last leg. My final voyage was eastbound all the way; San Francisco to San Francisco, 35,000 miles all told.

I am incredibly suspect at your choices for clarity of opinion.

It’s almost like you know the history of those subjects discussed here, and you address them, to lend credit to Mary’s unsupported theories.

Is this Paul Turner the photographer from this post:

Paul, why did you pick those subjects as “random” conspiracy theories to address?

You are not kidding about cabin fever. I’m a recluse and the minite I was told to hunker down, I became a rebel. Mainly, because I worked in medical for years, have a behavioral health degree, and decided from the on start it was mass psychogenic illness and hysteria. But, just in case I might be wrong and my intelligence lacking, I stayed happily locked behind the gates of our 80 acres. Now, I’m ready to shop the Sunset mall, and I would die from a panic attack before getting ten steps in. Being forced under the guise of protection (and it might be) and taking our freedom of choice away and giving it to those in fear is ridiculous. I understand to a degree, but if you’re scared, do what you do, I’m not, don’t make me suffer. I’m not wearing a mask, don’t like it, stay six feet away from me. I don’t do my shopping and I don’t pay some one to take the hit for me. Conspiracy or not, there still is common sense and people like me who want facts and true stats and don’t buy into every fear mongering news piece.

NBC News and the Today Show. Reputable? I could go on a 12-week binder conspiracy hypotheorizing over this laughable crap. After watching and reading this CCP propaganda, I’ve come to the conclusion Brian Williams was flying the attack helicopter that put an end to Erwin Rommel and 20 Iraqi divisions (or whomever his shuck and jive claimed to be pointed at).

What a marketplace…this giant new S.T.D. will turn America into. If we are to return to the barter system, can traditional Native American slavery be reinstated? Need some Easterners?
