Mendocino Cannabis Alliance Partners with Origins Council
This is a press release from the Mendocino Cannabis Alliance:
MCA is excited to announce that we have become a Regional Partner of Origins Council, a California cannabis education, research and advocacy organization. Origins Council is dedicated to supporting the legacy cannabis producing regions of California through sustainable rural economic development initiatives, research based policy advocacy, and the development of geographic indication systems (County of Origin and Appellation of Origin) designed to ignite the growth of the craft cannabis market and regional agritourism.
The Regional Partners of Origins Council are: Nevada County Cannabis Alliance, Big Sur Farmers Association, Sonoma County Growers Alliance, Mendocino Cannabis Alliance, Humboldt County Growers Alliance and Trinity County Agricultural Alliance. Collectively these organizations constitute the Regional Council which governs the policy work of Origins Council. The Regional Council exchanges information and shares resources and collaborates with Origins Council on community driven cannabis research initiatives.
We are grateful to MCA member That Good Good Farm for supporting our partnership with Origins Council as our 2020 Annual Regional Sponsor. For more information about Origins Council please visit: www.originscouncil.org
