Hey Kelley, I thought in California, there was no purchase necessary to enter a sweepstakes, giveaway or contest? According to the Gyppo website, they state in part:

“Game day goes something like this. The day starts out with the first tasting of our Gyppo NFL Pick Em league collaboration brew with Todd Athey, our Pirate Red Ale. Follow this with a chance to win a beer for a year! Easy peasy to be entered in this contest. Ask your friendly Gyppo server to make you a reservation for Super Bowl Sunday, purchase an entree and a beer on Super Bowl Sunday and you are in!”

So this reads to me like its a pay to play and gambling all rolled into one?

Ed, the person who posts these just gets handed a bunch of press releases to put up. They don’t usually look at them. So yelling at Kelley is pointless. I’m here. Yell at me. Or, to be most effective, contact Gyppo and express your concerns.

Thank you Kym for all you do. However, I’m not “yelling” at anyone (that would have been all in caps), let alone Kelley, nor do I wish to yell at you, just asking a question. Just like I do not think RHBB promotes drinking & driving or gambling.
