EPD Has Identified a Suspect in Wednesday’s Stabbing
Eureka Police say they have identified the suspect in the stabbing about 5:30 last night in the 2800 block of Broadway. According to Brittany Powell, the spokesperson for EPD, the incident occurred on the east side of Broadway across from the gas station.
“The victim and suspect are known to each other and were walking together at the time of the incident,” she told us. “The suspect has been identified and is known to law enforcement. We hope to locate him and make an arrest soon.”
Powell said, “The victim’s injury was non-life-threatening.”
At this point, the EPD is not ready to release the suspect’s name.

🕯🌳Really I’ll second that. 🤯🐸
🕯🌳They didn’t really say anything. ⚖🐸
I think a lot of commenters on here would get what they’re looking for by watching true crime TV, you won’t get all the details in an article about an open investigation, you get that by watching 30 minutes episode about a closed case. They’ll also learn a lot about why the police don’t realise certain info.
Humboldtians already get way more info on criminal activity than a lot of counties, why not be grateful for that instead of expecting to know as much as the police.
🕯🌳I’ll second that, especially from EPD.⚖🇺🇸
Good job Leo’s.
