(PHOTOS) Hawks on the Mendocino Coast

Anybody know what this hawk is? Rough legged maybe? Taken in freshwater area

Red-shouldered hawk.
Pretty sure it’s not red shouldered. We have resident red shoulders I see everyday and this was much larger and didn’t have the black and white pattern on its wings. This was closer to red tail in size and much more brown-gray

There should still be osprey out on the road I grew up on in Freshwater. They had two nests behind my childhood home.
I am up to ten different raptors from my deck but still haven’t seen an osprey in freshwater. But I don’t doubt they are there. The white tailed kites are out all the time and I thought they were osprey when I first moved out there.
