One Arrested After Warrant Served at Garberville Business

Gabino Catano

Gabino Catano

Yesterday, the Humboldt County Drug Task Force arrested one man for possession of methamphetamine for sale in Garberville. Law enforcement believes the suspect is a “a mid to upper level narcotics trafficker,” Sgt Jesse Taylor of the DTF told us.

According to Taylor, “In response to suspected drug activity coming from the Lone Pine Motel, HCDTF agents were able to secure a search warrant for a room rented by Gabino Catano.”

DTF agents located Catano, age 56, at a nearby business, Taylor said.

“Catano was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine for sales,” Taylor told us. “Catano was likely at the end of his supply when he was arrested.”

Good reason not to use that stuff. Besides in being incredibly bad for you, you enable this sort of culture to flourish. All of the societal problems associated with illicit drugs will go away once society give up their appetite for drugs.

Yeah, no joke. I will see things for sale at Ray’s for 4.99 that you can get at winco for 1.99. Things there regularly cost half to two and a half times as much as winco charges. Its exploitation plain and simple.

But back to the organized crime… Why doesn’t humboldt do a sting and arrest 50+ gang members like they do in Fresno and Bakersfield? Too inept? Is it too hard to keep track of the Cartel meth ring operators who are here seeking sanctuary?

Yup run out the growers and hire more cops. That’s gonna work right. I miss the early 90s when this never happened because the locals dealt with it. Your cops can’t arrest them there is no room in the jail. The county has no money because all the mom and pop grows are gone and our weed field are permitted to investment groups in the bay. We still have weed but the money is gone. Now it’s being spent in Silicon Valley not local. If we’re going to fix it Honsal has to go. Stop permitting grows backed by out of town money make it so local farmers can actually afford the permitting process. It’s just about to late. 1 more year of Honsal style camp raids will suck the last of the local economy away. Waive permit fees for applicants who submit a local birth certificate with there application. Work with locals and let there fees stack as debt to the county and give them a few years to catch up.

No it’s way easier to get the precursors in Mexico and smuggle dope than smuggle the precursors then manufacture here. It’s definitely mostly coming over the border at this point. There may be a few pill getters cooking off efrdra from them but not like they used to. Making cold pills requiring I’d and sales limitations culled that

Your supposition about what Willie thinks is off-base. Just because someone acknowledges that our shit gets made locally, it doesn’t mean they’re subscribing to racial stereotypes. Meth gets made all over the damn place. People make it in their damn bathtubs. Kids make it. It doesn’t even matter. It’s home-damn-grown. Maybe you should do some research.

Get off Willie’s back! Even if 60% or 70% is brought into the area, that means that there is still a significant amount made locally. Chemicals are easy to procure if you have the money, just like anything else. Don’t tell me it is all coming from Mexico, I know different.

Nope, they’re still outgassing here! Not all the local Meth Monkeys trust the Mexican Meth or have contact with them. Why should they worry about their small labs when no one is looking for them. Don’t believe everything you read or what you’re told. Open your eyes and nose and decide for yourself!

Take a walk in the evening around your neighborhood. Smell that smell? Yep, that’s cancer causing chemicals you are breathing. Bet you thought old Joe, next door, got himself a rank cord of wood, didn’t you? Don’t you see all the local little hillbilly, gremlin, drug monsters walking around the Dollar Stores with tombstones in their eyes? Wake up people!!!

This is the number one killer drug in Humboldt County! Time to raise your head out of the sand and close down the Meth communes. The truth will always eventually rise to the top. It’s easy not to step up and do something about this if you pretend like it is not happening!

Oh, by the way, all the pineapple comes from Hawaii!

Government Cheese

The meth that is made here is crap and yes, there meth made in humboldt! Most for personal use and small neighborhood sales. Mexico has the best meth and heroin out there! If you want to start supplying meth and/or heroin without “consent” on a larger scale, you will have a talk given to you, and not by your neighborhood watch officer. You can make meth in a 2 liter soda bottle with ingredients. Shake it up, vent it , and let it sit for 12 hours and woo lay! Your fix is ready! Than again, you can clean your battery terminals and add some saltpeter and have a fix too.

its just a house full of tweaker’s smoking it which you associate with a lab. the off gas of a meth lab smells nothing like meth. the cost of chemicals to make meth in the US are higher than buying Mexican meth. yellow crank is not meth. and gremlin meth monsters we see all over the area are not even smart enough to make crank. and if they were, we would be seeing related explosions and fires, along with houses being dismantled by haz-mat workers and all the demo debris shipped to a special waste dump. even the white power users covered in swastikas prefer good meth over bad crank. its not about trust, its about quality and profitability.

Actually, you don’t live in my area or home. Does it really matter what chemicals are being mixed to make their drugs? Does it matter that they are toxic? Does it matter what they are called? Does it matter that they are polluting my environment? You damn right!!! The days of making drugs with open fires are gone.

We don’t have the money, equipment, and manpower here in Humboldt County to deal with these toxic buildings and people. So we look the other way. You first have to admit that they exist to be able to deal with the problem. Yes, they are here.

No business can operate in the red. They have to be able to pick the problems that they deal with. Including our police force! I don’t currently have that option. Not to mention all the police and firemen and other officials that have died or are on disability combating this issue in the country. We can all just seem to want to ignore the hard druggies and hope and pray that they just go away. Not happening.

Some people can talk about this nightmare and others are living it! You would not believe the thousands of dollars I have spent trying just to survive this nightmare. I’m damaged, but I’m still here!

I hope some day I can hear the “Fat Lady”, clearing her voice and getting ready to sing!!! Will it it happen before my “Golden Years” runs out, or will I have to pack my bags and get out of Dodge?

they don’t get busted willi. There is too much money and protection involved. Just like the legion of Eastern Europeans in humboldt, they don’t go down. It’s called mafia for a reason. Where there is that much money involved even cops, border agents and politicians are on the pay roll. Major successful corporations are made by two things. Intimidation and very good lawyers. God bless America.

And you think home-grown white boys ain’t got mafia?

You think they don’t play?

Damn Congress is in on it… https://www.thenation.com/article/mitch-mcconnells-freighted-ties-shadowy-shipping-company/

You can rest assured, the primary beneficiaries of the drug trade in this country are US born and raised. And, like Congress, they’re probably almost all a bunch of rich old white boys.

You do realize, in this country, it is the white mafia that is most privileged, most rich, and gets away with the most illegal shit. We catch someone else making too much money and we shut ’em down or at least shake ’em down and bust a kneecap to slow them down. Every body always needs to know who’s in charge. Same with growers… as soon as they get big and profitable, they come in with the same playbook. And start pointing fingers at whatever local minority-owned crime-syndicate is convenient. All you gotta do is read between the lines…

But, yeah, God bless America.
