[UPDATE 12:09 p.m.] Large Convoy in SoHum

ConvoyWe have received multiple reports of a law enforcement convoy on Maple Hills Road which is near Miranda at the bottom of the Salmon Creek watershed.

The first reports about 6:50 said there were about 10 vehicles but later reports said there were 20-22 vehicles. So far, no reports of a chipper. But there is reportedly a skid steer. These can be used to quickly remove marijuana plants from the ground.

UPDATE 12:09 p.m.: The convoy is in Hideaway Hills.

Meanwhile, our newest enemy combatant member is imploding. They assumed they would take a loss but now the reality is those losses are near a billion dollars. KPMG dropped your ass, lol which should mean small investors will hopefully stay away and they will be forced to use that corporate backed money which will signal their doom. Next……..lol.

CannTrust (CTST) (TRST), a major cannabis player, suffered due to regulation violations. The company didn’t comply with Health Canada regulations. CannTrust grew marijuana in unlicensed rooms. As a result, Health Canada seized five metric tons of the company’s cannabis. KPMG also withdrew its audit report for CannTrust.

The company’s CEO was fired after Health Canada’s accusation of non-compliant growth activities. As a result, the stock price took a hit in July and August. The stock has fallen 25.9% in August and 64% YTD (year-to-date).

HEXO (HEXO) also faced pressure after the possible scandal news spread. The stock has lost 5.6% in August and 23% YTD.

Legallettuce: you think corporate money means canntrust is doomed and therefore so is corporate weed and all that goes along with it? Nah, more like a pothole on a road full of them that will eventually all get filled in (it will take years, a few lives, and more than just a couple of weed corporate scandals to end the locomotive that has left the station from gaining steam). Cantrust is one of many companies in this field, and will likely be rebranded just as Philip Morris ultimately became Altria after the smoking scandals.

The stock won’t be worth crap but someone will buy it on the cheap and leverage it, therefore re-birthing it like a phoenix and your temporary glee will once again return to gloom and doom.

You mean the corporate caboose that is stuck in the station with no locomotive would be a more accurate description. We welcome our new enemy combatants you stand where many have before in their failed attempts. Our industry is not based off of fear and speculation like corporate weed. Our industry is based off of supply and demand. We have the supply we have the demand. We will fill those potholes ourselves with our skunky dank moist sticky buds undercutting the corporate pot hole fillers at every main street in every city and in every state of this great union. Bring it I say we will see who holds control of the mighty baggie!!

Well they are on pace at around 3 to 5 sites a week. So over the next 6 weeks that is about 18 to 25 hits. It seems they are heavily focused on DEP scenes. So any of you who applied and did not follow through with the permit process are probably at the top of the list. If you are in this category you should let your neighbors know because it is a decent thing to do since you probably jeopardized their scene as well. Bonus though your neighbor will appreciate the knowledge and it will make it better for your future growing endeavours………This has been a public service announcement.

Possibly true. Always good to share info with your good neighbors. Always good to know your neighbors! It makes a big difference as to what agencies make up this convoy. The sheriff’s dept. just hits a single scene and runs. Where CDFW and Water Board and Cannabis Control are involved the raids have been more centered on a huge scene but then they uproot everybody else nearby with any more than 6 plants (old CAMP style). Not sure how much input or direction is controlled by local county sheriff’s dept but the raids in Mendocino (Spy Rock, Dos Rios, Woodman) were sustained over a few days and involved doors getting kicked in for 10 to 20 plants (treasure hunts)….Don’t forget what John Ford said numerous times about abatement- whenever somebody gets a permit he draws concentric circles around that scene and examines all properties within the closest circles. Up to now the sheriff has shown zero interest in grabbing up scenes that are “in the process” or fake-permitted. The state agencies’ presence may change that! And of course- this is all only a preview of next year’s expanded enforcement activities against all unpermitted mom n pops. Paid for by permit fees and dispensary taxes…

I’m sure the piece of shit sloppy “permitted” grow near me is attracting a look see in an area of people just trying to make it on some yard plants. When in the hell does the county rein these bad actors in?? This is the second year and no site inspection yet because the sloppy shit show is still full tilt.

Marijuana prohibition raids which included throwing people in prison for growing ,seizing their assets and huge legal fees did not deter people ! So after 60 years of Enforcement . .Is this the future of our county. A continuation of a failed policy?

Dos Rios Rd about 5 miles out from Laytonville. Most places had warrants but not every one. They were entered anyways and ransacked for I guess any cash stashes? “Kicking in doors” was an expression meaning “entered without search warrants”. It’s the old tactics refreshed with state money coming from permit funds and dispensary taxes.

Farmageddon 2019

If your a mom and pops,
Not a “green rush mega grower”.
And you took a fall during Farmageddon 2019.

We love you, and we have your back!!!
These heart felt sentiments are for you!

Something else I’d like to say,
To give our peoples hope!

We’re not packing up our wares,
And goin somewheres else,
to grow our dope!

Mamma grew the sensi,
daddy grew the stock.
Grandma sat on her front porch,
And grandpa was our rock.

Uncle Junebug falling timber.
Cousin Billy at the mill.
Here in Humboldt county,
Buddy that’s the deal!

We’re not packing up our wares,
And goin somewheres else,
to grow our dope!

My daddy’s second cousin,
was the sherriff for a time.
Our neighbor from jamaica,
married his x wife.

And when that boy had lost his job,
We wouldn’t let him in.
Once you’ve belonged to babylon,
you’re a stranger to your kin.

We’re not packing up our wares,
And goin somewheres else,
to grow our dope!

In memory of good ol boys and gals,
that helped us along the way.
We’ve sunk our roots deep in the earth,
Right here is where we’ll stay!

And when they come to root us out,
they’d better shoot us dead!
Better death than lack of liberty,
bewilderment and dread!

We’re not packing up our wares,
And goin somewheres else,
to grow our dope!

And somewhere round Thanksgiving,
we’ll all sit down and pray
The harvests have been bountiful,
No ones gone away.

And we wont apologise,
for how we live our lives.
We’ve kept Humboldt prosperous.
The truth cant be denied!

Were not packing up our wares,
And goin somewheres else,
to grow our dope!

So you better just get used to us,
our kind wont go away.
We’ll move our culture under ground.
Our cultures here to stay!
Would serve you well to keep the peace,
And leave our folks alone.
Stop regulating liberty.
And dont cut down our dope!

We’re not packing up our wares,
And goin somewheres else,
to grow our dope!

We’ve been out growing government
for over 50 years
How they think they’ll stop us now?
If they couldn’t stop us then?

3 billion for the government,
Free markets making 10.
Good fortune bless the outlaws
Keep’em all safe from the man.

We’re not packing up our wares,
And goin somewheres else,
to grow our dope!

Got it? !!!

Spare changing at the bars.

I won’t comment on the poetry, but I appreciate the sentiment.
Like the accidental tourist, we pioneers , in living life as best we could, created a
subculture that served us all well. A thing of beauty actually.
We have always been under attack, but now the hounds of hell have been unleashed.
Mom & Pop have been marginalized. Community is fragmented. Illegal mega grows. Corrupt County & State
hogs feeding at the public trough. Shilling for the Corporations that are next in line. But let me stop
before I ruin our day.
I often think of Soilent Green, but I am now thinking of Red Dawn,
Go Wolverines.

There’s a not so funny truth to what HumCo has defined.

Nationwide the pursuit of “legalization” is being used as propaganda for reestablishing prohibition. States and politicians are recklessly throwing the term “legalization” around to be a good thing. They count on the normal person to not study nor care that “legal” is wrong for cannabis.

California is proving the bait and switch of balloted “legal” to be a boondoggle. It’s a simple proof that watch out what you vote for, means understand first and then vote second.

In reality, “legalization” has/is teaching us that “legal” supports prohibition. There’s nobody winning this latest battle over our usage of cannabis, it’s still the 5 thousand years war of control.

On the 80 acres, there are 5 100′ plus green houses.

Soon the only place that people will have a good wage is either working for social services or for the law enforcement, or the jails, or the courts, or the lawyers. Anybody else who wants to come up and try to put a little hard work and effort into it is lead down a slippery slope and has the rug pulled out from underneath them constantly. The “gooberment” dangles the carrot of the supposed great cannabis programs that are going to develop from their fine, insightful, oversight. Yet, all that we see is people constantly getting busted, the “goobers” changing the general schematics of which everything was built upon at every turn. Instead of spending all the money on the grows, start dumping it into education for your kids at least the future will have something that way. Once the cartridge market implodes it’s going to be a really huge situation of unknown consequences. We have a whole generation of cannabis users that have used nothing but dabs, vape pens, they have no idea what a natural bud product is. Here goes some more ever-evolving never resolving scenarios woo hoo!

What is your idea of future representation? What areas do you see as being ignored? The focus seems to be on “Give up your home to absolve my guilt”.

The government operates at the pleasure of the people, for services and contracts that are better served under the unity of weights and measures, roadways and other conveyances where uniformity is necessary for dealing in commerce. It is for these reasons that government is not to delve into the private sector and compete against private business as they have an uneven balance with the fear of police force used to tax and condemn.

How can we expect “someone” to step up to the proverbial plate if We, the People don’t know what’s on the menu?

You have sold our whole economy to the city folk and didn’t get shit in return. So now where does the money come from. Have any of you idiots talked to local business owners you have killed them. Honsal lies to all of you and you beloved his smiling ass. Fortunately I saw this coming and moved to trinity a few years ago. Now that the permit fee money is gone even the county is feeling it. I know many of the remaining growers will not purchase a dam thing locally I know a guy in willow creek who is now shopping in weaverville. I would not be so quick to run off the last few trying to keep it together

Jo, I love Trinity !! less people and more friendly folks. The grocery store is pleasant folks in Weaverville. Trinity is a whole different feel of ( ahhh ) a fresh breath. I will take the bad roads over rude ass people any day. Wonderful from Trinity to Ruth lake. Peeps stay in their own biz and fences make that happen. Trinity is a wonderful world.

And why does a black market still thrive. The end user in a dispensary is paying 60 an eighth when the whole ounce costs 50 in the black market. Greed and you idiots let those profiteers run the county.

There was a huge raid team leaving Covelo on Thursday afternoon Sept. 5. I counted more than 20 Sheriffs and CDFW vehicles and the MCSO Armored Personnel Carrier.
Does anyone know details?
