‘Lost Coast Fresh Hop Fest’ to Benefit the Healy Senior Center; Gyppo Looking for Sponsors

LCFHF_logo_squareThe following is a press release from the Gyppo Ale Mill in Shelter Cove, Ca.

Gyppo Ale Mill in Shelter Cove is thrilled to bring the first annual Lost Coast Fresh Hop Fest to the North Coast on October 12th from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. It’s going to be a real good time, but the goal of Gyppo’s Lost Coast Fresh Hop Fest is to raise money for Healy Senior Center, which is in dire need of financial assistance to continue to provide their amazing services to our young at heart community members. We are looking for like minded, community oriented sponsors. Being a sponsor will give your business extended exposure through media campaigns, promotional materials being distributed, and through event advertising online, on the radio, and on social media, all targeted at your demographic. There are some really nice perks for the sponsors as well! For more information on sponsor packages and event information please contact Datso Perkins at [email protected] .

We are so thankful to the Community Credit Union, Flow Kana and Country Club Cannabis who have already committed to sponsorships!

Gyppo’s head brewer, Jared Smith, will be going to Goschie Farms in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, on hop harvest day and delivering fresh hops to It’s Alive Kombucha, Seaquake Brewing, Port O’Pints Brewing, Humboldt Cider Company, Mad River Brewing Company, and 6 Rivers Brewery, that same day to maximize the flavors that you only get from brewing seriously fresh hops. Contact Jared Smith at [email protected] if you are a brewery and would like to participate!

The fresh hop brews from these seven local breweries will be served alongside delicious cuisine. Pineapple Express, The Lost Frenchman, and Gyppo Ale Mill will be serving up gourmet fare. You won’t want to fill yourself up at just one of them, try a little bit of all of them to round out the gastric experience.

There will be a very curated selection of vendors of local artisans and craftsmen and craftswomen showcasing their talents. It’s never too early to start your holiday shopping!
All of this fun will be set to music. There will be multiple live bands throughout the event to keep you dancing, or at least tapping your feet while you sip your favorite brew. This is a family event and there will be fun activities for children. The Wandering Photo Booth will be there to capture you and your fam/crew having fun. We will have two lounges for you and friends to kick back in.

Lisa Luv and I produced rock band competition(s) to benefit KMUD and we went business to business throughout the county for weeks accumulating sponsorships. We had to take a sponsorship package with tax I.D. information to make it all legit and profitable.
Glad another benefit for the Healy is in the works!
