Structure Fire Spreading to Wildland South of Salyer

Structure Fire feature iconSalyer, Hawkins Bar and Willow Creek Fire Departments were called out to a fully involved structure with flames spreading into the surrounding vegetation about 2.5 miles up South Fork Road not far over the Humboldt County line into Trinity County.

About 9:25 p.m., one firefighter reported over the scanner seeing a spot fire to the east as well as flames moving from the building into the vegetation.

Please remember that information gathered from initial reports is subject to revision as more facts become available.

UPDATE: Reports from nearby residents indicate firefighters were getting control of the spread.
