[UPDATE 10:08 p.m.] Power Lines Down Across Thomas Road West of Miranda

power lines downA tree fell and “took out” power lines on Thomas Road just south of Salmon Creek Road about 8:45 p.m., according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.

A small fire started but is now out. However, the lines are completely across the roadway and traffic won’t be allowed to cross PG&E lines.

Power is out to over 50 residences, according to PG&E.

Please remember that information gathered from initial reports is subject to revision as more facts become available.

UPDATE 10:08 p.m.: The road is open, according to Salmon Creek Volunteer Fire Chief Joe Shotwell.
