That looks like a hybred bear with a bigfoot face. I wonder what that’s about.

I wonder if it’s the mother of that cub from last week?

Should have killed it. Tranquilizing and taking it to a new home will only result in it becoming someone else’s problem bear. I know from them being dropped close to my house.

Relocation, unless you’re going to put it way out in the boonies does result in repeat offenses. There are many rural areas where the bears would benefit from some education, at the end of a shotgun full of rubber slugs or buckshot. Kalifornia in all its wisdom banned these loads from public use. Calling F&W onto their property is not the favorite thing to do for many people in Humboldt. Might as well call the Gestapo. Thus many, many bears die needlessly. This time of year is particularly sad, as people kill mothers with cubs.

An aggressive bear should be put down. It no longer fears humans, and someone is going to be a snack. No point in relocating it, it will still bother or attack someone. Without a gun, you don’t stand a chance in hell of surviving. Take it out Fish & Wildlife!!!

CCW 10mm. They issue to Swedish police because they can stop a polar bear, eh, good enough for me!

10mm not good for cops. Takes way to much practice to place quick followups for what you’re getting. That’s why they dumped the .41 mag. Good for special forces and tactics though. Unless their’s something really sissy about polar bears, I think you would have your hands full with a pissed off and possibly wounded by you large black bear. Banter is ok but don’t get in over your head, because after all, it is only a hand gun. I saw a drunken Indian kill a big bear with a .45 Colt revolver one time and it was kinda traumatizing for all concerned, including bystanders. Does anybody know if bears eat cats?

Hmmm… nevermind, I’ll email them to you. For some reason they don’t come out well here. These are not local bears BTW.

Should give the bear a weapon to even the odds. I support the right to arm bears.
