[UPDATE Saturday: Vehicle Found] Grandfather’s 1997 Ford Ranger Stolen When He Was Picking up Great-Grandson From School in Eureka

Ford ranger

Not the actual stolen vehicle but one like it.

Yesterday, David Schmidt, a Vietnam Vet, was at Alice Birney Elementary School picking up his great-grandson when his 1997 white Ford Ranger was stolen.

“[T]his is his main transportation,” his grandaughter, Alysha Thomas told us. The pickup has a “Vietnam sticker” in the back window and it’s license plate number is 8N08573.

If you have any information, please contact the Eureka Police Department at  (707) 441-4060.

UPDATE Saturday: A reader located the vehicle and it’s location was reported to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle has been returned to the owner!

Used to be a hanging offense to steal someone’s mode of transportation.

~’civil asset forfeiture’ comes to mind. The alleged Lieutenants in a Sheriff’s Dept., just get a phony bulloney warrant for a vehicle! —minus anything that resembles due process on the land in a republic.

No consequences as Renaissance1 says in below comment.

THERE ARE NO DEFINITIVE LABORATORY TESTS FOR ANY SO-CALLED MENTAL DISORDER.

~let’s screen everybody to find out if they have mental disorders. Let’s diagnose as many people as possible with mental disorders and give them toxic drugs—

Today on The Point, the devildoers are suggesting that 6 and 8 y.o.
be screened.

Between that advert and the pushers pushing their toxic injections
advert, and the “green” zombie business advertising, i have to turn the radio off.

No, not so. They find ways to enter older cars. Proven fact in Humboldt now. Even locked cars they are gaining entrance to. They stole my dad’s 26 year old locked Honda by using 1 of the 4 keys used back then. Yes, it was locked. Yes they abandoned it later with “their” key jammed into the ignition.

I will be praying for recovery of your vehicle and returned in same condition.
I remember a time when we never had to worry about stuff like this in Eureka.
Sad! Sad! Sad! when you cant even leave your vehicle to pick up children from school….😫

Humboldt county sheriff recovered it today around 145pm. Pacific towing picked it up and towed it back to the owners house. Pacific towing didnt charge him anything.

~good to hear. However, i doubt that Honsal The County’ Sheriff, with 200+ under his command, left his desk.
