So the guy just drops dead in the middle of a field? What was the weather like at that time? Did he get really drunk, fall down? Isn’t that close to murder mountain area? I’m calling foul. Better look into it.

The remains were found near Campton and Walnut Streets. That’s Cutten, the outskirts of Eureka. Nowhere near Murder Mountain.

that was the fastest autopsy I’ve ever heard of, usually it takes a lot longer, I’d get a private 2nd autopsy in a different county with all the optional test if I was the family.

The McKay Tract is very large, crisscrossed with eroded motorbike trails, logging debris, steep hills, etc. While not wilderness, it is possible to actually get lost in it, depending on how close to the road he was found.
