In March of this year, skeletal remains were located in a wooded area near the intersection of Blue Lake Boulevard and Maple Creek Road near Blue Lake. They were analyzed “for DNA identification,” according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Samantha Karges, spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office, told us, “Foul play is not suspected at this time.”

No, it’s: “I know nothing!” but in a German accent, so it comes out like: “I know nussing!”

Don’t worry. Schultz said ” “I see nothing! I hear nothing! I know nothing!”.” So everyone is right about the catch phrase. Oh the days of stereotypes and unabashedly patriotic nonsense…

What a shame!! One has to wonder if his service in Vietnam had anything to do with the charges against him. Vietnam did strange things to survivors. He served his country and was awarded a Purple Heart. That must count for something. If I were in his shoes I would do the same. To imprison a veteran for tens of years who in all likelihood had PTSD and who knows what else would have lead to the same outcome. I feel for the victim, but I have the same compassion for this veteran. He committed a horrendous act of violating a young person. Any veteran with a Purple Heart should have automatically been evaluated for PTSD. But it is known that Vietnam was about military corporations making huge profits at the expense of nearly 59,000 young American men average 19 years old and over 1.3 million innocent South Vietnamese civilians. What a waste of human life including this veteran. What does that say about a country who elected a president who claimed he could murder someone and never be arrested or could sexually abuse any woman at will and never be called to atone for the gross misdeeds or has blatantly lied to the American public over 6000 times in three years. As a woman I am appalled.

Having PTSD has nothing to do with a person being a sexual predator or child rapist. PTSD does not cause one to act out in that way. Regardless of if this man was suffering from PTSD due to his time in service, he committed an atrocious act of violence.

I have no idea what point you are trying to make, bringing up the war or Trump? What is wrong with you?

He was ACCUSED of committing a crime. Why is everyone assuming guilt? This is kind of sick really.

So you’re not ok with the President but you are ok with an accused child molester. Seek help. You apparently suffer from TDS.

Really? As a woman, you are appalled? Lol I guess you’re more disturbed by a Veteran’s apparent suicide (escape from justice) than you are about ‘ongoing sexual assault of a child’ by said patriot… You think fighting in Nam made soldiers into kid rapers? That’s a stretch. You’d do the same? Good to know. A Purple Heart for killing and surviving war dismisses child sexual abuse? Wow- but let’s focus on the political administration that has only been in power for three years. How about this- sickos enjoy war- think about that, before you speak up in defense of a gross child molester who was too weak to face the music. Shame.

[edit] Dragging our President into a possible suicide by a Veteran who probably was sick and took his own life to escape from being imprisoned for possibly the rest of his life. Wish all of you [edit] would quit dragging President Trump into all of your sicking and disgusting comments. Get a life and maybe a job that you will show the world that you are not completely insane or mentally unstable.

So very true. Anytime someone does a horrible crime they blame Trump. What about all the Clintons crimes and suicide by the Clintons. Suicide sucks, but don’t blame anyone but the person who committed suicide. My Brother died of suicide, but it was his choice, not the gun or the president at that time. Good grief people. Let it go

You have compassion for a rapist that abused an innocent child for years!? My father is a Vietnam vet who was awarded a Purple Heart and suffers from PTSD to this day. There’s some forms of aggressive behavior that could be attributed to PTSD but ongoing child rape, COME ON! . I have the utmost respect for veterans “thank you all”, however have zero sympathy for this POS. As a human being I am appalled.

Im WITH U MY FATHER ALSO WAS IN VIETNAM AND SUFFERED PTSD AND NEVER CAME BACK AS A CHILD PREDATOR. HOWEVER MAYB HE WAS BEING REMORSEFUL AND PUT A END TO HIS OWN LIFE INSTEAD OF MAKING IT PUBLIC OR JUDICIAL RESPONSIBILITY.
COMING FROM
A ADULT
WHO WAS
A CHILD SURVIVOR OF SEVERE ONGOING CHILD MOLESTATION .

SO HOPEFULLY HE FOUND GOD AND REPENTED BEFORE HE FOUND DEATH.
MY PRAYERS ARE STILL WITH HIS FAMILY IF HE HAD ANY THEY DIDNT MOLEST AND THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES LEFT TO SUFFER.

As a veteran who suffers from this crappy disease, I can safely say ptsd does not cause you to go touch kids, doesnt cause you to go shoot up a buncha random people, it doesnt cause you to do random heinous crimes.

PTSD is not an excuse for the inexcusable act of molesting a child. And no we don’t need to start being worried that veterans with purple hearts could have PTSD and therefore be a threat to children. More likely the sickness was passed to him by someone he trusted when he was adolescent.

Sad. Rightly or wrongly accused, and the repercussions that will result, suicide feels like a good option, as the path forward means life will never be the same. From the status of receiving a Purple Heart to having a scarlet ‘P’ around his neck; hard transition.
Sympathies to his family, and to anyone who MAY have been hurt by him.

I can. I can sleep alright now knowing he is gone. I am the victim of this man. From the time I was 3 years old till I was 8. Whoever is defending him can go to hell and I mean that with full disrespect I’m now 15 years old and I will NEVER and I mean NEVER forgive him I do not care what anyone else has to say about it he is a horrible man and there is so much more to this story than what you have seen on the internet. Learn your facts before you speak.

sad thing is that je was accused of such things. once a male is accused even if the charges are dropped there never is any coming back from that. the stigma is always there people tend to judge these charges as if they were proven before they even are . what is rarely talked about is the large number of males accused that .understand this and kill themselves not because they were guilty but because they know their life will never be the same they will constantly have to guard against such rumors and accuactions for the remainder of their lives neighbors will no longer speak to them, friends wont want to hang out etc. the damage was done . guilty or not those claims of sexual crimes are the end of any man.
it isnt spoke about much but white males over the age of 60 have the highest sucide rate in the nation . infact 60 percent higher than anyother group add vetran to that and he already around 75 percent higher risk of sucide than any other group. it is easy to see how being accused of such a thing would lead him to this end.

I don’t think the fact that this kiddie rapist is a VETERAN, PH recipiant or PTSD sufferer should even be mentioned in either the headline or the article. It sort of passively suggests or infers that one or all have anything to do with the other… And they don’t! .
It casts a shade of shame over all of his proud and strong one time brother’s that they don’t deserve. I say one time brother’s because I believe this vile miscreant got thrown out of the brotherhood the day he decided to start raping children. A dishonorable discharge so to speak. If I didn’t take crimes like these as personally and seriously as I do, I could almost see a joke in that last sentence…
My bad..

WOW! So many expert professionals making comments. The lady may not know what she is posting, but neither do any of the posters who post they know everything about this guy or if PTSD had anything to do with his behavior. As for comments about Trump I agree that was out of bounds. I also agree everything written about him is true. But that would be for another discussion. The President is a CREEP!!

Alot of Vietnam vets had sex with under age girls in country.
Sad but true.
If he did molest this youngster, killing himself would be a good step toward regaining his honor.

Roy was a good man to all who knew him. I think it’s important to remember that “accused” does not mean “guilty”. Please refrain from attacking him for something he might not have even done. It’s harmful to his family who have already been through so much.
