Glad to know that Southern Humboldt Technical Rescue is on the search crew. Diana Totten and the rest of that team are the best we’ve got, dedicated, experienced and well-trained.

Have they got houses in that area? If so they need to also seach from house to house in case someone seen them and took them into there home for the night. Never hurts to check it out. Praying they are found safe and well and are reunited with there Mom and Family. This is so Heartbreaking as I to have a grandon and granddaughter around the same ages. If I was there I would be Looking Also, no matter what my health is. These are children who are probably very Scared, cold and hungry.. Please all Volunteers, Police, ect don’t give up until these girls are safely returned home. Thanks for all you do.

These girls are the same age as my oldest girls. Hits home. So super sad. Just had a talk with my oldest about what she would do if she got lost in the woods. Told her about snapping branches as to leave a trail so people could follow and other little tips just in case. I feel sick to my stomach knowing these too little’s spent the night probably scared and definitely cold and alone in the rain and cold dark. I hope these girls are both found together safe and soon!! I wont be able to stop thinking/praying for them till they are found. 😭💔

Any child who lives in the woods should carry a whistle.

Is it affirmed that the girls were not abducted, only wandered off and are lost? In any situation, our prayers be for the girls and family, and all involved ♡

Why would these little ones run away? Very strange. Interrogate the parents. Check all criminals in the area. etc.

Strange indeed ….

This is beyond the scope of a walk in the woods at this point..And quite different than a 2yo wandering away.

My hinky meter is going off —I hope I’m wrong..

It hasnt publically yet, but soon attention will turn to the parents , and to their relationship. A test that even the best of us maybe couldn’t pass. There by the grace of God…

Sadly if it came to that, there would be a very long line of people ready to defend the integrity of this family. Myself whole-heartedly included. “By the grace of God,” as you say, try to have some compassion for the family during this time.

I grew up in Benbow with great parents. Never had a real reason to run away and was never treated badly. Did I play in the Forrest and build forts. Yes I did. What if it got dark, what if we went farther then we thought, I could go on with possibilities, but I think you can get the point. This family and friends are dealing with so much pain right now. Pray and be positive.

Granola bars, fire pit, rain coats. Two smart little girls like that on adventure of a lifetime would head due west straight for the ocean. Hope they catch up to them soon. Best wishes. If we can help in any way please let us know.

I heard Dean Thomas, at Pacific Outfitters, is an exceptional hunter, guide and tracker. He has worked for several agencies and groups doing research in the woods , rivers, ocean, etc as well as his own backwoods guide business in Humboldt.

I don’t know, worth a call at least.

Why did it take as long as it did for the mother to notify the authorities? Something seems a bit fishy to me. I hope I’m wrong… Prayers to bring them home safe.

Tea leaves are also very effective. But I prefer divination using homeopathic dream crystal catchers or ley lines and feng shui compasses.

Anyone know if that Redheaded, short bearded homeless guy is still living above the old dam? Saw him in Gville a few months ago, in his forties maybe. He might know what’s up in that area if he can be found and is still living there.

You people are awful hateful trolls. My babies are missing. I immediately notified all neighbors and we were out searching. Not doing chores or neglecting my kids. You can waterboard me and I will say the same thing. The truth. Your speculation and hurtful comments are not helping or making anyone feel better but yourselves. Get off the computer and help us look. Its 230 am and I just got back from searching all day and haven’t slept since my babies left.

Mom,

I’m sorry you have to read such trash as HumCo spews.

HumCo should have been banned long ago for too many reasons including promoting videos from Neo Nazis and convicted criminals, and flat Earthers.

HumCo also has dog whistled calls-to-arms. These are calls for unneccesary violence.

Don’t let Humcos comments influence anything in your spirit. The best of the community is helping look for the girls. The worst are represented by HumCo. Pay the idiots no-mind.

I’m sending you some hope and well wishes today, there’s nothing else I can do for you than that. I truly hope for the best.

I find it incredibly strange that you’d be taking the time to read RHBB comments and respond to “awful hateful trolls” at 2:30am.

Carricomom is reaching out to us locals. She said it right. And you come in with an ugly, hurtful opinion of the Mother in this!

Then we’re stuck with Brian who puts himself above the pain the Mother is dealing with, to tell her his dysfunctional take on another commenter!

~you’re a poor excuse of a human being Brian. And, i’m not sorry to say.

Perhaps Kym, you could step in and delete Brian’s public breakdown.

Every knows how this comment section work. It’s just like any other type of social media. It’s a rabbit hole. One might say, “… oh, I’m just going to see what the news says.” Then the comments are right there. “I’ll just read one.” Then you’re hooked. Before you know it, you’ve read all four or five different articles of the same event with all their updates and aaalllllllllllllllllllll their comments. All the while hoping the whole thing will end and no one else responds to your comment so you don’t have to keep checking back.

By the way, even if it was 3:30am or 4:30am, after looking for my kids all day, I’d be so full of adrenaline, I wouldn’t be able to sleep either. I wound neither be surprised, nor blame her, if she were awake for the next 48 hours. C’mon people, my lost puppy kept me up for 36 hours.
