The silver SUV contained two Mormon missionaries who were uninjured. The van occupant was uninjured also.

Currently, one lane is blocked and will be for a short time until tow trucks can haul away the two vehicles.

Please remember that information gathered from initial reports is subject to revision as more facts become available.

The path to righteous is narrow, they should have stuck with the 10 speeds.

I don’t know why you had to put in that attitude there two people hit bye a car when they were minding their own business and yes they were Mormon missionaries but you’d be surprised what wonderful work those people do everywhere all of the world

Do you consider proselytizing “minding your own business”?

Agree. My opinions on religion should not preclude sensitivity to the bad luck of others. Otherwise what good am I? What am I? The cause of atheism is not helped by cruelty and bad attitudes. “Live like a human being.”

It’s hard to remember that people are often misguided but well intentioned. Proselytizing is understandably frowned upon, but these people think anyone they fail to reach is going to be tortured by demons so . . .

Some of these comments are completely uncalled for. We are all human beings and we should treat each other as such. Where is the compassion anymore. This could have turned out way worse. If people would just put their own families in the place of an accident maybe they would be a little more kind hearted.

If all of the people in this post had 1/2 as much dedication and intregrity to something that YOU believe in I would very much surprised. Fools Mock…

I encountered a couple of Mormon youth in Santa Fe. They were knocking on the door of the place I was crashing. I let them in and had a great discussion with them about music and the Grateful Dead and I even played them a GD tune with the lyrics “What shall we say call we call it by a name, as well to count the angels dancing on a pin, Water bright as the sky from which it came And the name is on the earth that takes it in, We will not speak but stand inside the rain. And listen to the thunder shout I Am! I Am! I Am!…I Am!!” And then of course Ripple…
Yeah, these kids were cool. They listened to my crap and we discussed relative pathways to truth and spiritual living. They did not push. They were finding their way. Mormons send their young out into the world on missions for experience and are much less pushy or self-righteous than many others. I’ve met hippies in SoHum who were much more annoying…That’s all I can say

The only Mormon missionaries I`ve met were 2 remarkably nice ladies in their late 50s.

I`ve always like Mormons, if for no other reason they`re really into guns and being armed. John Browning — arguably the greatest firearm designer of all time — was a Mormon. He came from a polygamist family in Utah. The rest is history, and a rich history it is.

A lot of folks relate Mormons to Utah but tend to forget about how they ended up in Utah and the journey from Nauvoo Illinois and Missouri and how they were killed and executed for their beliefs. They were true pioneers of the west. Traveling across the plains with nothing but the clothes on their backs and some belongings being pulled by a handcart. They were driven from their homes in the Midwest and landed in slc.

I,m glad no one was hurt in the crash. I have two half brothers younger than I that were Mormon Missionaries now Elders ,altho they tried to get me to believe their way,it just didn’t fit in my heart, being baptized Baptist. Both brothers told me about the path to righteousness, and one told me “see its as narrow as our 10 speeds.” They never lost their sense of humor, and knew how to make me laugh, I do admire them for their determination to make this world a better place for all, but converting to Mormon just wasn’t my cup of tea. If you took offense at a glib joke told to me by a Mormon, “F”em if they cant take a joke,Joke them if they cant take an “F” is all I have to say.
