Armed Robbery at Cannabis Storage Unit Near Willow Creek

Armed Robbery feature iconPress release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

On Feb. 20, 2019, at about 2:30 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Stagecoach Lane in Willow Creek for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

When deputies arrived on scene, they contacted a male and female victim. The victims told deputies that they had been awoken by an alarm triggered at a cannabis storage unit on the property near the residence. When the victims went outside to investigate, an unknown subject physically assaulted the male victim. Meanwhile a second suspect grabbed hold of the female victim. The suspects then reportedly pointed a firearm or taser at the victims and forced them to lead the suspects to the storage unit. The suspects stole approximately 50 pounds of processed cannabis, then fled the area in an unknown vehicle.

The victims were unable to provide a description of the suspects or suspect vehicle, but told deputies there were possibly three suspects involved.

Anyone with information regarding this case or related criminal activity is encouraged to call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at (707) 445-7251 or the Sheriff’s Office Crime Tip line at (707) 268-2539.

“Let’s legalize pot to stop the crime” they said.

It’s the money that causes the crime.

Give your weed away, or don’t “store” it.

The hills are alive, with the sound of bandits…

Growing pot, in Humboldt County, is a stupid thing to do. Protect yourself.

This will only be the 10th in a long line of white market robberies. Jedi…. the black market is strong. This is one of many reasons weed being “legalized “ dosent work. It’s a drug (and a medicine), but so is RX drugs, the biggest black market trade in the US!

Why don’t you spend some time studying the Statler family and what they did to America through their company, Purdue Pharmaceutical, then blamed the addicts for the opioid crisis? Those people need life sentences, but instead they get billions.

This shit with weed hasn’t changed in 50 years. I haven’t paid for it in probably 40 years. I can grow the best, but I don’t do volume. The “best” to me doesn’t mean lightning shooting out of your eyes and all bodily orificies, either. Besides, I think “genetics” has bred the “fun” out of it. Regulation brings a different breed of greedy people. And criminals looking to make a quick buck. I really don’t see much has changed for the average consumer other than prices.

I’m so glad that “legalization” has saved us and stopped this kind of stuff! Oh wait….there’s actually MORE of this kind of stuff?! But…but…they told me if I voted for their “legalization” we’d all be safe and free!! How long until we are free and safe…like they told me?

There has been alot more of us falling victim to robbery since regulation began. Growers used to out gun the rippers for the most part. Government regulation has neutered our community and we are supposed to rely on the cops to keep ourselves and our product safe!?!? The same cops who we couldn’t count on previous to regulation. Or have been known to steal product and cash from us. How’s that supposed to work?

This is just the beginning! !!! The more they abate the more desperate the majority of the population will become! !!! All the rich elitists who were able to afford there permits and lobbied for most of us to be screwed didn’t think things threw.hiding behind a permit won’t help with some situations

The majority of the population is not growing illegally. I suspect that the biggest source of income in Humboldt Co is government. HSU has a budget of 125 million, Humboldt County about 460 million, Arcata city budget , US Forest Service employees and contracts, California Parks , CalTrans, police, fire, schools, Social Security, welfare, grants, etc, etc etc. Heck I suspect even the dairy industry, fishing, logging- depleted as they are- total more.

A “Cannabis Storage Unit”…

Could describe nearly any structure on the North Coast.

Legalizing pot was an attempt to increase control and taxation of weed, while reducing the costs of enforcement.

Willow Creek is a wild west pot town. Expect ripoffs.

Also, if people everywhere who need Cannabis, would grow their own, crime would be reduced significantly.

Anti-legal-pot-blow-back is massing, and, here comes the National Guard! Have a fun Summer!

When the money is gone from marijuana, the crime will be much lower!

Pot should be free!

Plant some public pot today!

“When the victims went outside to investigate, an unknown subject physically assaulted the male victim. Meanwhile a second suspect grabbed hold of the female victim.”

I wonder, did the victims go heavy when they outside? Or were they in their slippers, armed with flashlights? I’m betting slippers and flashlights.

Taxed and “regulated” to oblivion, this should come as no surprise. Then, crimes like this will be used as a pretext, an excuse, for even more government, more “law enforcement”. To pay for that, more taxes on, yeah you guessed it, MJ. Driving the price up farther, more incentive for crimes like this. Classic Problem–Reaction–Solution. Get government to take their taxes, their regulations, their guns, and go back to their corner, and you’ll find the “problem” has miraculously taken care of itself.

Inside job much? Clearly the thieves knew the layout, and knew that there were only 2 people home with no guard dogs or other security measures such as cameras or armed guards etc. That’s what thieves look for, weak spots. An alarm is not going to do anything If the people on property aren’t prepared for such a situation, as another commented mentioned above, it is more than likely that these folks did only go outside with “slippers and flashlights” I mean no disrespect and clearly do not know the extension of the situation, but if I feel like someone is on my property about to rob me or try and harm my loved ones etc in the process, my man and I are both coming out with all dogs loose, protecting ourselves with everything we have got, it’s our legal right to protect ourselves with our registered and legal weapons if we feel our lives are being threatened. It’s very unfortunate that thieves exist, but they do, and they always have and more than likely always will. And More often than not it’s those that are closest to you that end up betraying you the toughest. I can speak from direct experience on that one and I am only 14 years in as far as industry experience, VERY young Compared to most Emerald Triangle OG’s, and in just this short amount I’ve time I have seen things change DRASTICALLY in every aspect of Our World. Friends selling out friends, family selling out family, all for the appeal of the all mighty dollar and the new quests for permits and “legal” rights to still do illegal shit LMAO. Well Guess what folks, even the shiniest most golden Apple can be rotted to the core. When you feel pressured to change who you are and catch yourself re-aligning your core values to continue down a certain path, you should probably get the fuck off that path. I have lost many friends to this industry over BS. To all my fellow outlaw growers, Stay safe out there this season, I hope that everyone has a productive, safe and prosperous year. Don’t sweat the national guard news lol, there is NO way they can catch us all ; ) Don’t draw attention to yourself, keep it uNder 1000, and respect your land, go organic, recycle everything you can, and don’t be a dick. Always be prepared to Protect your family, farm and livelihood against whatever may come your way, hopefully you won’t ever have to fight back against any of that shit but ALWAYS BE READY. Stand up for what you truly believe in, be nice to people, buy and support local businesses and don’t let the fucking buyers set your prices!!!!

Respect eyeball kid, and as far as the buyers go yes, this is true, we have all been there and ultimately they can decide to walk and sometimes do! I did absolutely mean that as a sentiment as well so I am glad you caught that drift, mostly what I am getting at is to not let the buyers undermine your value and hardwork! They may set the underlying prices in some ways yes, but in our most recent years we have ended up feeling better and doing better by sticking to our guns shall you say lol as far as tickets go! If they can’t budge a point and have to go elsewhere to get those sweet deals they say are everywhere, we will say goodby amicably, good product sells itself and we are blessed to have an amazing head grower who appreciates his art and appreciates what we stand for : )

Calm down WC, how the hell do you know what I am protecting and whether or not it’s illegal? Mind your business and work on whatever it is that will get you to the level of having something to even protect. And who says anything about me going to court? Clearly you aren’t too clear about hill politics, if something goes down 3 hours out a dirt road on a secluded mountain top with no one around other than the thieves and the land owners, whoever wins that battle certainly isn’t calling the police right after to report a crime. Regardless the finest Sheriff’s in all of the land “cough” will probably take 2 days to arrive hence completely eliminating the possibility of helping those in need right away. And just so you can sleep soundly tonite, my home which I am speaking about protecting is NOT located on my property in which I grow, hence completely cancelling out the ridiculous argument mentioned by you above. Yes we all know the law thank you captain obvious, we all are completely aware that weapons aren’t “supposed” to be on property, but You can bet your ass that 95% of growers in this county are strapped the fuck up, permitted or not, on or off property or not, because if it comes down to the nitty gritty and I need to use a firearm to protect myself, you better fucking believe I’m going to use it and I won’t regret it one bit. I have no desire or want to shoot someone, and clearly most sane folks would avoid that situation at all costs if possible, but if it’s me or them, you better fucking believe its going to be them, I will worry about the legal semantics later when I am still alive and that thief or ripper is in the hospital with shot out knee caps. Mind your fucking business before you judge others, you don’t know my life and I don’t know yours. But I want everyone in this feed to know and understand that it’s the people who have been taking these risks for years, with the threat of “courts” and “charges” and arrests looming over their head at all times, but still risking it all to do what they love who have paved the way for all the new money young investor folk types to even have any ground to stand on. Not everyone is worried about how something will appear in court, fuck the judicial system. This country is corrupt AS FUCK regardless of your stupid comments, and if that did happen to me I would absolutely take whatever came at me from it and I would sleep well at night knowing that I stayed true to who I am and what I believe in. I hope one day warmth finds its way into your heart, anyone who chooses an anonymous name and inserts 666 purposely is definitely not riding the same wavelengths as the folks I know and love. I hope you can learn to one day see the good in people before tearing them down and calling them out. This is a blog, not a courtroom. Smoke a joint and relax. Clearly you have your own shit to work out.

Well. Lets see. The story says that the sheriffs had responded to a robbery that had just occurred so i guess it didn’t take them quite as long as the 2 days you say. As far as shooting folks and getting them buried before le gets there then i guess you might be the one to calm down a bit. And if you grow in a different area than your house the only folks i know that do that are the growdozer greenrushers who fucked thing whole thing up for the locals. lol, I guess you do not understand what mamma said. Mamma said you come out on her property uh messin and your ass is gonna get shot. Mamma said ain’t no need for police cause you bring unwanted attention an the possibility of being charged for killing a thieving slime (out in these hills we call em animals and human animals should be put down). Not to mention all the court crap and lawyers it just messes with your lives. The simple solution to avoid all this is knowing bone and blood meal help plants grow. Pay attention city boy Mamma said!

You jealous cause mamma done right knowing not to live on the same property as the grow. Doubt you know what it is like to be raided by CAMP or have ever had to deal with standin up against lies of the federal government. News flash for ya I have properties in each of the triangles counties and grow on em but that ain’t where my house is located. Been here for 40 years and drive a beat up truck with no airbags, lol. YES LEGAL LETTUCE! Nail on the head sir, I could tell you were an OG OG. I can tell you articulated each one of my points exactly as I meant them to be! Literally laughed out loud at the bone and blood meal comment! Gotta love those dry nutrients! Hey it’s Organic! Don’t panic WC666, if you are the one that got robbed out there in willow creek, then I’m sorry. That really does suck, and I can speak from direct experience on that one unfortunately. Be grateful that you and your loved ones were not hurt, and come up with a better plan moving forward on how to protect your commodities from those looking to come up on the hard work of others. Just because we don’t want to be permitted doesn’t mean we don’t support the friends of ours who choose to go legal. As long as people are doing the right thing, and being true to who they are and what the believe in, I’m all about people taking whatever route they want.

Legal Lettuce, again much respect to you sir. I remember vividly many days of getting flown while watering the ladies, I could usually see the helicopter pilots helmets and glasses/goggles. I always smiled and waved while my man flipped them off from the other side of the garden. THE best of times lol. Wow 40 years, much respect and many blessings to your legacy sir. I am blessed just to reminisce of my short time here on the “good old days” when we could see all of our work for 4K and up up up. I bet you saw even better times then that : ) So much love and light to you and your family, I hope 2019 treats you very well : )

You mean that’s why YOU have $500 dollar pounds these days hunny. We are good over here. Not one unit left the property for less than 1k, yes they were all greenhouse and deps so they are at a slightly higher price point, but we good. And will you take a moment to read before you respond, I saidddd, out 3 hours into the mountains off of a dirt road, where real farmers grow, the sheriff physically CANNOT respond for days due to driving conditions/weather you name it. One downed tree that’s big enough and you are stuck on whatever side you are coming from and you better hope you have a chainsaw. If it’s takes me 3 hours to get on property, with my knowledge and experience driving my road, then there is NO way a deputy is going to get to me in time if someone is trying to harm me or rob me at gun point. Since you clearly aren’t from around here, Willow Creek is basically right off the 299, a main highway, hence the quicker response time and easier access to a warehouse that clearly was NOT on a mountain, which is what I was referring to in my comment above. Settle down hunny, I have no desire to shoot and bury anything or anyone. And gratefully I have never had to, nor have any of my near and dear family and friend of these hills. Why? Because we all try to project the vibrations and the energy that we want to receive from this World and we keep to ourselves and stay out of sight. We all drive normal old trucks and do normal old things. Sure Everyone gets fucked now and then and believe me I have had many business deals go sour. But no one ever got hurt. Your reality is your perception dear. I have no idea why you are so upset or have gotten such a rise out of my words, you must be young. Or maybe old and bitter? Nonetheless, it’s about time you learned to respect a Real Woman when you hear one. It’s ok that I know more than you, soak it in, bask in it. Don’t be afraid, I don’t bite – hard ; ) And unless you have spent a night alone on your own farm, 3 hours into the wilderness, with no cell service, no electricity, no running water etc. with only your shotgun on your shoulder and dogs by your side up all night watching the crop then you shouldn’t even really be speaking to me in that tone. I have dug myself out of a landslide bare handed on the edge of a 500ft shear cliff drop to get back to the coast to go home, your little thumb warrior comments aren’t comprehensible to me darling. I hope one day you see the light!

~music to my ears.

Cross your fingers that it doesn’t come to all-out bloodshed.

It is not the duty of the police to protect you. Their job is to protect the Corporation and arrest code breakers. Sapp v Tennessee 348 So. 2nd, 363 Reiff v. City of Philadelphia, 477 F Supp., 1262, Lynch v. N.C. Dept. of Justice 376 S. E. 2nd 247.

The FCC, CIA, FBI, NASA and all of the other alphabet gangs were never part of the United States government. Even though the “US Government” held shares of stock in the various Agencies. (U.S. V. Strang , 254 US 491, Lewis v. US, 680 F.2d, 1239).

Those of you who are AWAKE, this is your call to stand with those who are standing.
Stand up in your community, for it is at the grass root that change is most effective. Only the People can restore America.

So they have a good idea of a description etc or know them themselves and do not need the sheriffs to help them dig the holes later. Murder mountain was built on people doing bad things to bad people for excellent reasons. Thieves suck and deserve what they deal out= no mercy. Mercy is for when they already committed themselves to treatment, not after being caught. I love it when their chickens come home to roost and the payback far exceeds the current crimes for all their past crimes.
