[Update 4:50 p.m.] Expect Emergency Vehicles on 101 South Near Fields Landing

The CHP Incident Page shows that a vehicle has gone off the highway “at full speed” near Fields Landing at abaout 4:36p.m. As of yet, the vehicle has not been located.

[Update 4:50 p.m.]  Vehicle has been located. It is on its roof 40 feet below the roadway according to the CHP incident page.

[Update 5:21 p.m.] Item cleared from the incident page

I wonder if this had any possible connection to driving too fast for conditions?

Just because you can go fast doesn`t mean you can steer or stop.

It`s ALWAYS best to keep the rubber side down.

Is this the wreck going southbound that involved a Toyota Rav-4? If so It happened around 1:45 P.M. today and was closer to College of the Redwoods Exit. I seen it along with my 2 passengers. If not then there was more then 1 wreck, because the one I seen airborned into trees and it was Hailing and Raining Hard.
